A student says when she would tell her parents how school staff spoke to her, they didn’t believe her. So she grabbed her phone and recorded it. When her family saw it they said it is time for adults to be held accountable. In the video she recorded you can hear the principal of the Riverside Academy West Charter School in Dearborn, Michigan, and students. The principal says he was called by a teacher to help with disruptive students. Because she is a minor we are withholding her identity, but the student recording admits she interrupted class by talking with a friend. She says the principal then overreacted. He can be held yelling at the students to shut up and to go to another school if they don’t like it. He calls one student a big mouth. “I was scared. One girl was crying, because he has two faces, one for the parents and for us,” said the student. “I cannot imagine watching a teacher treat my children this way,” said Kaytlyn Dell, who is the student’s older sister. She is speaking for her parents because they do not speak English. “Kids are screaming. Teachers are screaming. There is no structure,” said Dell. “Anything short of treating children with dignity and respect, parents, colleagues, administrators, is unacceptable. So anytime that is compromised we take that very seriously and address the matter swiftly,” said Michael Conran, Superintendent of Global Education Excellence Schools, which runs several charter schools. A Tulsa, Oklahoma, woman is urging brides to use more caution when selecting a wedding photographer than she did. "I was planning this since I was a little girl and it turned out just the way I wanted it and I have no pictures," Natalie Barney said. Barney was on a tight budget for her big day. "I just wanted a small wedding, but it had to be big enough for everyone to see my pink dress," Barney said.When she saw an advertisement for an "affordable" photographer on Facebook, she clicked on it. The bride-to-be messaged April Keller, owner of Queen Bee Photography - Stillwater, who she said quoted her 0 for 100 photos. "I saw her pictures on Facebook and they looked good," Barney said. It was a photo of a bride in her wedding dress surrounded by her bridesmaid in pink dresses that caught her eye. Barney said she was worried about her photos from that moment on. "She messaged me [after the wedding] and asked if I could get the pictures my 10-year old niece took so she could edit those," Barney said. Barney was sent a handful of pictures through Facebook messenger but not near the 100 she paid for. "There are only three that are good pictures," the bride said. "They are pictures that I could have taken." In Facebook messages provided by Barney, Keller admits the pictures did not turn out well. It was heartbreaking news for the bride because she had family fly in from out of state for the occasion.As a consolation, Barney said Keller offered her a free family photo shoot with her children and grandchildren. On the day of the shoot, about 10 members of Barney's family went to the location they chose in coordinating outfits, but Keller did not show up. A U.S. Navy sailor killed two U.S. Department of Defense civilian employees and wounded an additional civilian at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam near Honolulu, Hawaii, on Wednesday. According to Rear Admiral Robert Chadwick of the U.S. Navy, security forces responded to a reported shooting at the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard around approximately 2:30 p.m. local time. The base confirmed that access gates were closed. Nearly 90 minutes after the incident, the gates to the base were reopened.Chadwick confirmed that the suspect shot three male civilians before shooting himself.The names of the victims will not be released until the next of kin have been notified.More than 19,000 active duty are stationed at the base. The base employs more than 11,000 Department of Defense civilian employees.
