This summer, Uncharted decided to put it to the test.CEO Banks Benitez says he started looking into it in 2019. The team worked Monday through Thursday, taking every Friday off. The hours were not made up throughout the week. The team worked four 8-hour workdays.They looked at three main things: performance, culture, and mental health."Performance stayed the same and was constant over the course of the experiment compared to previous performance," said Benitez.Culture, he says, slightly improved at the Denver-based company. People felt just as or a little more connected to members on their team.Lastly, to no surprise, mental health improved."I know that our best work comes when our team is healthy when our team is mentally healthy, when our team is aligned and in touch with each other," said Benitez.Benitez says there’s a different mentality that his employees bring in when they have a four-day workweek. They’re more focused and clearer about priorities. However, there are some downfalls"There’s a little bit less buffer time to kind of just go with the wind. You have to be really thoughtful about how you structure your time. And of course, the benefit of that is, Fridays are off," said Benitez.That helps lead to more downtime and time to refresh before starting the work grind again Monday morning."How do we situate Uncharted within the broader life that they’re living, [whether] that’s family, kids, adventures, travel, all that stuff. Thomas Magnum has lost his sidekick. John Hillerman, the actor who played Magnum P.I. sidekick Jonathan Higgins, died on Thursday at the age of 84. According to TMZ, he died at his home in Houston. The cause of his death is unknown. Hillerman's portrayal of Higgins was plotted as a foil for the title character in Magnum P.I., which ran for eight seasons on CBS. Hillerman won an Emmy Award in 1987 for his performance. Besides his role on Magnum P.I., Hillerman appeared in nearly two dozen feature films, and even more television shows. TORONTO, Canada (KGTV) -- Canadian law enforcement officials have released disturbing surveillance footage showing a masked suspect posing as a delivery man firing a crossbow into a woman.The video, which was captured Nov. 7, 2018 but released this week, shows the suspect approaching the 44-year-old victim's porch holding a large cardboard box. The suspect rings the doorbell, exchanges words with the victim, then fires an arrow into her chest, leaving her with life-threatening injuries. The suspect then fled the scene in a dark-colored vehicle parked nearby, police said."After a brief conversation, the suspect shot the victim with an arrow using a crossbow that was concealed inside of the box," Peel Regional Police said.Investigators said the attack was premeditated, targeted, and isolated "based on the conversation that occurred between the victim and the suspect." No further details about the conversation were disclosed.Police said the suspect used an arrow "designed to hunt large game such as moose and deer and inflict the maximum amount of damage possible."Officers are seeking the public's help identifying the suspect in the attempted murder case.
