Authorities across four countries are trying to learn who sent dozens of email bomb threats Thursday afternoon, causing anxiety and business disruptions but no reported violence.Threats were reported across the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.Universities, courthouses and newspapers received them. It appears to be a robo-email that has been sent throughout the area hoping to scam businesses out of money. As part of the response to one of the deadliest school shootings in US history, Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel told reporters on Wednesday that deputies that patrol high schools in the county will be equipped with rifles. The announcement came on the same day that President Donald Trump called for an end for schools being considered "gun-free." Carlo Acutis is the youngest contemporary person to be beatified. He follows two Portuguese shepherd children living in the early 1900s who were proclaimed Catholic saints in 2017. Already touted as the “patron saint of the internet,” Acutis created a website to catalog miracles and took care of websites for Catholic organizations. ATLANTA (KGTV) - An Atlanta Delta flight was forced to return to the ground shortly after takeoff when black smoke began billowing from one of its engines.The Delta aircraft took off from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport Wednesday shortly after 6 p.m. EDT when the smoke was reported, according to airport officials. Multiple reports indicate the plane was heading for London's Heathrow Airport.About 43 minutes after takeoff, the plane returned to the ground and airport fire crews hosed down the engine.
