MOSCOW, June 10 (Xinhua) -- China and Russia should strengthen cooperation and exchanges between their legislative bodies so as to promote the two countries' relations, China's top legislator Zhang Dejiang said here on Tuesday.
Li made the remarks while meeting with visiting World Economic Forum (WEF) Founder and Executive Chairman Klaus Schwab.
He commended the Chinese government for implementing good strategies to allow Chinese companies to invest in Africa by providing the requisite logistics and added that this venture has enabled several firms to set base in the continent.
He applauded China-Singapore collaboration, including flagship projects like the Suzhou Industrial Park and the Tianjin Eco-City.
Heads of the two states have had several fruitful meetings. Besides their first summit in 2013, Obama paid a visit to China in November 2014. The two leaders have also met on the sidelines of multilateral meetings, such as the eighth summit of the G20 in September 2013 and the third Nuclear Security Summit in March 2014. Their talks touched upon a wide range of issues and face-to-face meetings helped enhance understanding and trust.
