President Donald Trump will not meet North Korean leader Kim Jong Un next month for what would have been a historic diplomatic summit, he announced in a letter to Kim released by the White House Thursday morning."I was very much looking forward to being there with you. Sadly, based on the tremendous anger and open hostility displayed in your most recent statement, I feel it is inappropriate, at this time, to have this long-planned meeting," Trump wrote. "Therefore, please let this letter serve to represent that the Singapore summit, for the good of both parties, but to the detriment of the world, will not take place."  639

Republicans suffered setbacks to court challenges over the presidential election in three battleground states on Friday as a national law firm that came under fire for its work for President Trump’s campaign withdrew from a major Pennsylvania case. The legal blows began when a federal appeals court rejected an effort to block about 9,300 mail ballots that arrived after Election Day in Pennsylvania. The judges noted the “unprecedented challenges” facing the nation during the COVID-19 pandemic. Meanwhile, a Michigan judge found no evidence of fraud in refusing to stop the certification of Detroit-area election results. And in Arizona, a judge dismissed a Trump campaign’s lawsuit seeking the inspection of ballots in metro Phoenix.President-elect Joe Biden is projected win at least 290 Electoral College votes, and could add to his lead depending on a hand recount in Georgia. Biden is leading Georgia by more than 12,000 votes. 944

President Donald Trump tweeted late Tuesday morning that he will "go after" Stormy Daniels and her lawyer, Michael Avenatti, calling the porn star "Horseface."“Federal Judge throws out Stormy Danials (sic) lawsuit versus Trump. Trump is entitled to full legal fees.” @FoxNews Great, now I can go after Horseface and her 3rd rate lawyer in the Great State of Texas. She will confirm the letter she signed! She knows nothing about me, a total con!" Trump tweeted.Avenatti quickly responded on Twitter.".@realDonaldTrump - tens of millions of Americans are tired of your fraud, lies, and corruption. They are equally tired of your attacks on women, especially the ones who you have had sex with while cheating on your wives. We (and the UN) are laughing AT YOU, not with you. #Basta," the lawyer tweeted.Daniels also responded on Twitter a short time later."Ladies and Gentlemen,  may I present your president. In addition to his...umm...shortcomings, he has demonstrated his incompetence, hatred of women and lack of self control on Twitter AGAIN! And perhaps a penchant for bestiality. Game on, Tiny," she tweeted.Trump's tweet comes a day after a judge in New York threw out the lawsuit and ordered Daniels to repay Trump's legal fees.Daniels claims that she and the President had sex in 2006, shortly after Trump married his current wife Melania. She claims she was later threatened to keep quiet about the affair. She also later signed a non-disclosure agreement, saying she would keep quiet in exchange for payment.Daniels claimed that Trump defamed her when he said she lied about being threatened to keep quiet about the affair. US District Judge James Otero ruled Monday that Trump's speech was protected by the First Amendment.Pool reports indicate that Trump had no public events scheduled for this morning.More on this as it develops.  1872

QUEENS, NY — The childhood home of President Donald Trump in Queens, New York is reportedly for sale. A real estate agency is asking Trump supporters to donate to help purchase the five-bedroom, five-bathroom home, to show their “love.”“Love Trump? Thank President Trump by contributing to this campaign to buy his childhood home in his honor!” a GoFundMe page reads. The Tudor-style home along Wareham Place failed to sell at auction last year, and is listed for sale. Paramount Realty USA started the GoFundMe page to raise donations, with a goal of million. As of Monday morning, they had around ,500.“We are raising funds to buy President Trump's childhood home for him, or a charity of his choosing, as a token of appreciation. What happens to the historic property is up to him!” the group states in the description of their fundraiser. The group lists possible uses for Trump’s childhood home, including as a presidential library, national historic site, trophy property or house of worship. In September 2016, President Trump told tv host Jimmy Fallon “that’s really sad looking at that, I want to buy it, I want to buy it,” when Fallon informed the president his childhood home was for sale and showed images of it.According to Paramount Realty, the home sold in 2017 for about .14 million. For a brief time, Airbnb listed the home as available to rent for roughly 0/night after the 2017 sale. The home appears to be listed for .9 million.Trump lived at the home from birth to around age 4, when his family moved to another home adjacent to the Wareham Place property. 1765

PROVO, Utah - Things were far from the "friendly skies" on a flight to Provo over the weekend when a fight broke out after a passenger refused to wear a mask.Rylie Lansford shared a video of the altercation that occurred just moments after she boarded the Allegiant flight from Mesa, Arizona, to Provo, Utah, on SaturdayLansford says the fight started after a flight attendant asked a man who had already boarded to wear a face mask that covered his mouth and nose. The passenger was already wearing a face shield, but Allegiant requires masks to be worn at all times. View this post on Instagram This happened on my flight earlier today. Allegiant flight from Mesa-Phoenix to Provo, UT. I will be posting the story and what happened next! A post shared by Rylie Lansford (@bakedbyrylie) on Oct 3, 2020 at 6:38pm PDT A mild argument ensued between the reportedly belligerent passenger and the flight attendant.Soon thereafter, another passenger became involved in the dispute. Police said that the passenger asked the man to comply.Flight attendants told both men they would be kicked off the flight if they did not tone down their behavior. However, Lansford said the second man continued on a tirade and threatened the original man.At that point, with the flight ready to depart, security was called in to remove the man who refused to wear a mask.As the man got up to be escorted out, Lansford believes he took a punch at the second passenger. A brief physical scuffle occurred and Lansford ran to the front of the plane.Lansford says the flight crew handled the entire situation really well. While the original man was escorted off, the second passenger was not removed from the plane despite his participation in the fight. When contacted by FOX 13, Allegiant reiterated its position on wearing face masks on flights."Face coverings must be made of solid material, fully cover the mouth and nose, fit snugly against the face, and be secured under the chin. Prohibited coverings include those with exhalation valves, holes (such as lace or mesh), neck gaiters, and bandanas. Face shields may be worn in addition to a face covering, but not as an alternative."The flight eventually departed and arrived in Provo without any further incident.According to Mesa Police, 52-year-old Rio James Honaker was charged with disorderly conduct. This story was first reported by Jeff Tavss at KSTU in Salt Lake City, Utah. 2446
