President Donald Trump on Tuesday again seized on what he called a "terrorist attack" in London to call for tougher anti-terror measures, even though the incident was still in the early stages of investigation."Another terrorist attack in London...These animals are crazy and must be dealt with through toughness and strength!," the US President tweeted.Metropolitan Police in London were investigating the event -- in which a car crashed into security barriers outside of the Houses of Parliament during rush hour Tuesday morning -- as a terrorist incident. (KGTV) - Family and friends are preparing to say goodbye to a Poway teen, killed while driving home from college for Christmas break."She always brings a positive vibe wherever she goes. Her smile can really brighten up the room," said friend Brandon Kim.For the friends of Kim Huynh, smiles for them are hard to muster."To me it was just shock," said Kim.Last Thursday night, the 18-year-old Huynh was driving back home to Poway with her older sister after finishing her first quarter at UC Riverside, when the car spun out on a Murietta highway, slamming into a tree and killing her. Her sister suffered minor injuries. The cause of the crash remains under investigation."She was one of my closest friends," said Kim. Kim met Huynh in grade school."Super smart. Ten times smarter than me," said Kim.Kim said his friend also had a joyful side and loved having fun. Huynh danced for one of Rancho Bernardo High's dance teams. After graduating, she enrolled at UC Riverside on scholarship. The pre-med student also hoped to help her immigrant parents."She said she wanted to become a doctor to give back to them for taking such good care of her," said Kim.After her death, friends gathered this weekend to remember a promising life cut short."Everybody broke down ... I want to grow up with everyone. The fact I have to leave someone behind breaks my heart," said Kim.The funeral is planned for Thursday. (AP) — A 9-year-old girl who lost her collection of baseball cards when a wildfire destroyed her family’s central California home received a huge surprise when firefighters presented thousands of new, donated cards and put her on the phone with her favorite player. Reese Osterburg didn’t get a chance to save her 200-card collection when the Creek Fire forced her family to evacuate. When local authorities heard about her loss, they put out a call for baseball card donations. A collector in San Jose donated more than 25,000 baseball cards, which were presented to Reese on Friday. Popular digital marketplace Groupon has changed its cancellation policy after some people complained it was too restrictive.Before, once you purchased something in the marketplace, you had 24 hours to cancel your purchase. However, some businesses changed their hours of operation or how many people the business could support at once thanks to the pandemic, so customers would be losing their money on these purchases.Now, Groupon offers customers 72 hours to cancel any purchases, just in case. Even with the extended grace period though, some say it's still a good idea to call ahead and double-check how a business is operating."Figuring out what the business looks like, have their hours been affected, are they temporarily closed because of COVID and if they are open it’s not a bad idea to call and see if they are honoring the group because so many businesses are being affected by COVID," Sara Kemerer, a Tri-State public relations specialist with the Better Business Bureau, said to WCPO.On its coronavirus update page, Groupon said if your voucher was extended past its expiration date, you'd receive an email with the new expiration date.Groupon also said you can check your My Groupons on your account to see if the expiration date has been extended.
