San Diego (KGTV) -- North County parents and students are voicing safety concerns after the Vista school board voted 3-2 not to restore law enforcement at school sites next year. The Vista Unified School District made its decision early Friday morning despite backlash from some parents."We seem to need constant reminders so we've had Columbine, Parkland, Sandy Hook, and on a day we're pleading for safety another tragedy hits," one parent told 10News.The parent was referring to Thursday's shooting at Saugus High School just north of Los Angeles. A student gunned down a group of teens on campus killing a 16-year-old girl and a 14-year-old boy. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Police are searching for a man who reportedly grabbed three women on three separate occasions before running away.The most recent incident was reported on Feb. 25, at about 7:30 p.m. near the intersection of Iris Ave. and Oro Vista Rd. A 22-year-old woman was walking when an unknown man walking in the opposite direction grabbed the woman's breasts and ran away, San Diego Police said.The incident is similar to two others reported in the same area.The first one, on Oct. 30, 2017, happened at about 7:30 p.m. and the second on Jan. 17, 2018, at about 9:30 p.m. Both occurred in the 1500 block of Oro Vista Rd. with a similarly described suspect who grabbed the women and ran away.The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his early 20s, about 5-foot-6, and weighing about 220 pounds. He was last seen in a grey hooded sweatshirt, black athletic shorts, and black shoes.Anyone with information on these incidents is asked to call San Diego Police at 619-531-2000 or Crime Stoppers at 888-580-8477. 1035

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Police are investigating after they say four teenagers were beaten, stabbed and robbed near a City Heights elementary school Saturday night.Police say the four teens were in a skate park near Cherokee Point Elementary School on the 3900 block of Landis Street when they were approached by a group of men.According to police, the man tried to start an argument, so then teens ran to a pedestrian bridge where another group of men was waiting for them.Police say the approximately 15 men punched and kicked all four victims and stole their cell phones and wallets.One of the victims was stabbed in the elbow and another was cut on the finger.One of the victims was taken to the hospital for his injuries, police say.
