Mike Levin's “Valentines for Veterans” program, the holiday cards were collected from 49th District constituents thanking veterans for their service.“Our courageous military men and women earn our gratitude every day. Crafting Valentines for the upcoming holiday is a small way to show veterans in our district appreciation for risking their lives in defense of our nation,” said Rep. Levin. “That is why I am launching the “Valentines for Veterans” program in California’s 49th Congressional District, so our community can say thank you while spreading a little merriment this Valentine’s Day to our local heroes.”The Valentine's Day cards will now be sent out to local veterans. 821

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Police are searching for a suspect in a Serra Mesa stabbing that left two people in critical condition Saturday night.Officers responded around 7:51 p.m. to a call of a brawl outside of a house party on the 8400 block of Neva Avenue, police said. At least two people were located with stab wounds to the torso.A resident told 10News described hearing people fighting outside his home. He tried to intervene but the suspect disappeared.“I rushed out to see if I could stop them from doing anything and by the time I think they already left the scene," said Turk Sapta.The unidentified victims were transported to a local hospital in critical condition, police said.No description of the suspect or suspects was given at this time.Stay with 10News for updates to this developing story. 813

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Padres outfielder Tommy Pham is recovering after being stabbed in the back Sunday night, the team says.According to San Diego Police, Pham was stabbed during an altercation Sunday night.The Padres said Monday that Pham is in “good condition.” He is expected to make a full recovery.“We are aware of the incident last night involving Tommy Pham. He was treated at UC San Diego Health and is currently in good condition. He is expected to make a full recovery. The San Diego Police Department is actively investigating the incident and we will have no further comment at this time,” the Padres said.Pham Monday also thanked the medical staff in charge of his care.“I’d like to thank the incredible medical staff at UC San Diego Health for taking such great care of me last night.
