People in San Francisco make the highest salaries in the world, according to a new report by Deutsche Bank. According to the report, San Francisco beat out Zurich, Switzerland this year. Zurich had a long-standing dominance on the list, but people in San Francisco are paid nearly ,000 per month more than those in the Swiss city. The report shows that San Francisco residents make an average of ,526 per month. In Zurich, the average is ,896. PepsiCo CEO Indra Nooyi, one of the most prominent women to lead a Fortune 500 company, will step down on Oct. 3.She will remain as chairwoman of the board of directors until early 2019. Nooyi, 62, will be replaced by Pepsi's global operations chief Ramon Laguarta, 54.Nooyi, who was born in India, is one of a handful of people of color to lead a Fortune 500 company.She helped turn Pepsi into one of the most successful food and beverage companies in the world. Sales grew 80% during her 12-year tenure. She spearheaded Pepsi's transition to a greener, more environmentally aware company.Nooyi has been with Pepsi for 24 years. PHOENIX, Ariz. – Blanca Ramirez knows how to step past an obstacle.“We’re trying to register people to vote,” said Ramirez. “It’s really important to vote.”Leading up to the October 5 deadline for voters to register in Arizona, Ramirez walked from shopper to shopper in a grocery store parking lot in south Phoenix, making sure people were registered to cast their ballot.“I come at eight in the morning and start talking to people and see if they are registering to vote,” she said.Ramirez’s mission is driven by the obstacles and hurdles she’s overcome. She came to Arizona from Mexico in 1977.“It was really hard,” she said. “We came from poor people, poor family.”Last year, Ramirez became an American citizen and in November will cast a ballot in a presidential election for the first time."It’s like I'm born again, and they say you’re going to start a new life,” said Ramirez.“When we hear folks are upset about the current state of affairs, no matter the issue, you care about that and so voting is one way we can make a change,” said Araceli Villezcas.Villezcas works for the non-partisan organization One Arizona.The group has registered more than 150,000 people to vote in Arizona this year.“I think it’s one of the most powerful ways of creating change,” Villezcas said.Change is something Arizona has seen a lot of.According to the United States Census Bureau, Arizona is one of the fastest growing states in the nation. Phoenix police say a young mother reported missing after her baby was?abandoned has been found dead. Police say the body of Jasmine Dunbar, 21, was found by police aircraft late Wednesday afternoon in the area of 107th Avenue and Camelback Road. Officials are awaiting official identification of the body through scientific analysis, but the body has been tentatively identified as Dunbar.The body had significant burn evidence.Dunbar was last seen with her ex-boyfriend Antwaun Travon Ware, 20, on Tuesday night.Family members told Scripps station KNXV in Phoenix she left home with Ware and her 7-month-old baby around 7:30 p.m. The infant was found alone in her car seat along the road near 83rd and Minnezona avenues around 10 p.m.Police located Ware at his home on Wednesday morning and he agreed to come to police headquarters for an interview.Due to evidence collected, police developed probable cause to arrest Ware on one count of first-degree murder, kidnapping, abandonment of a body and child abuse. PARADISE, Calif. (KGTV) -- Pacific Gas and Electric could face murder or manslaughter charges if it were found responsible for starting the deadly Camp Fire, according to CNN. The company could face a range of criminal charges if any of the wildfires broke out as a result of improperly maintained power lines. Potential charges range from misdemeanors related to clearing vegetation around power lines to "homicide offenses like implied-malice murder and involuntary manslaughter."Attorney General Xavier Becerra has yet to come to a conclusion about the company’s responsibility in the recent fires. This year, Governor Jerry Brown signed a measure allowing utilities to bill their customers for legal settlements stemming from the 2017 wildfires.
