When a 12-year-old Michigan girl was asked by a man to get in his car, she responded by asking him what the password was, to which he couldn't provide and answer. The Macomb County Sheriff's Office says the stranger danger incident happened Wednesday around 7 a.m.The girl was walking to her school bus stop when she was approached by a newer model, black Chevy, four-door sedan. The windows of the vehicle were heavily tinted. Authorities say a male suspect in the vehicle asked the girl to "get in the car." She responded by asking what the password is. The suspect said he didn't know, so the 12-year-old ran away from the vehicle. The girl and her mother have set a password if the mother were to ever have someone pick the girl up at any location. After the girl ran away, the suspect eventually drove from the area. The girl then continued to the bus and told a school resource officer about the incident when she arrived at school.The girl was uninjured, and another student witnessed the incident and corroborated what the girl told police. WESLEY CHAPEL, Fla. — Three women have been arrested after they led police on a pursuit through Pasco County and it all started after someone reported seeing the women naked at a Pasco County rest area off of I-75 on Wednesday. On Wednesday, April 10, 2019, at approximately 11:15 a.m., an FHP trooper was dispatched to the suspicious persons call at the northbound I-75 rest area just south of State Road 54. When the trooper arrived on scene, she found three black females completely naked. The women told the trooper they had showered and were "air drying."Troopers say the girls told them they had been at a relatives house in Lutz and got into an arugment. They had no where else to shower, so they bought soap and water and bathed themselves on the grass outside the rest stop building. The girls got dressed before speaking to troopers.As the trooper was attempting to gather their information, the three women ran and got into a white 2009 Nissan Sentra and traveled southbound into the northbound rest area entrance before turning back around and heading northbound before traveling north on I-75 toward State Road 52. The trooper initiated a pursuit, but the pursuit was canceled due to the pursuit not fitting FHP criteria, according to FHP. RECOMMENDED: 1277

WESTLAND, Mich. — Finance apps like Cash App and Venmo have become a popular way for users to quickly transfer small amounts of money to friends and family. But as the services have to expanded to include debit card services, customers across the country have experience issues in accessing their money.For Amber Woods of Westlansd, Michigan, it was all about convenience. She could quickly transfer funds using a special debit card linked to her Cash App account."I started using it to pay bills or send money to my mom, my sister," she said.But then, she says she hit a snag. Without explanation, she couldn't transfer her 9 dollars to her bank account — it was stuck inside the app.Cash App does not have a customer service phone number, leaving users to make contact in the app or via e-mail. Woods did reach out several times, but says she ended up with only generic replies.Nationwide, others have faced similar issues. On Twitter, one user tweeted at Cash App's support account complaining that ,000 was locked in the app. Another Twitter user tweeted at Cash App claiming he was unable to pay his rent because of a tie up.After nearly two weeks, Woods says she finally recouped her funds, but the delay comes as no surprise to the Better Business Bureau (BBB)."Their communication style...is not great," said Melanie Duquesnel of the BBB serving Eastern Michigan.The consumer protection organization has been tracking complaints against Cash App’s parent company Square, nearly 2,000 of them settled in just the last three years."It just made me mad, what gives you this right to hold onto it," Woods said.It turns out Cash App and Square do have a right. The company’s legal fine print saying that Square “...may limit how many transfers you can initiate....to your….bank account and the amount of funds you can transfer in a single transaction… ” Square argues that limited transactions allows the company to screen for risk of fraud.In a statement, Square said it was looking into the matter and added that its "goal is always to provide customers with fast and thoughtful customer support that resolves the issue. Occasionally, as in this case, we fall short of that goal, and we’ll use it as an opportunity to learn and do better in the future."The BBB says Woods' situation is a reminder to pay closer attention to the rules governing the apps that manage money.
