BEIJING, Dec. 30 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and his German counterpart, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, held phone talks Monday ahead of the New Year.
"I would not deny that we'll meet various risks and challenges in the future, but we have the courage to stay calm and the wisdom to address the problems," Li said.
He also called on the Netherlands to play a positive role in promoting the negotiation as EU member.
From its first meeting on April 24, the drafting group of about 60 members worked hard for 200 days under the leadership of Xi until the opening of the plenum on Nov. 9.
The 59-year-old career diplomat said the two countries should also work together to produce substantive results in their cooperation over hot spot Asia-Pacific issues.
