AURORA, Colo. — Thousands of people gathered for hours over the weekend, demanding justice in the Elijah McClain case after Colorado's governor appointed a special prosecutor to review the case earlier this week. At least one person is injured after a man opened fire at a hospital in Shreveport, Louisiana Wednesday morning, according to reports. The man was shot in the leg and is expected to be OK.Around 6:30 a.m. ET, officers got called to Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport - St. Mary Medical Center for reports of a shooting.Officers treated it like an active shooter situation and local media in the area said hostage negotiators were on the scene. The hospital was closed to new arrivals for a time Wednesday morning. BAKERSFIELD, California — Fire crews around California are gradually getting the upper hand on wildfires that are ravaging the state.On Monday morning, CalFire updated the progress of multiple fires from around California.The Camp Fire in Butte County is now covering 151,000 and is 66 percent contained. Attorneys representing the state of Missouri announced Monday they will drop a felony invasion of privacy charge against Gov. Eric Greitens, after the attorney prosecuting the case was named as a witness in the trial.However, the decision might only mark a temporary victory for Greitens.
