(KGTV) — A group of demonstrators gathered in Poway to call for justice for George Floyd and against police brutality, in unison with other protests around the nation.About 75 people gathered with signs and marched along Poway Road with signs reading "Black Lives Matter" and "Stop the Hate, Build the Love."Some businesses, worried that scenes from La Mesa on Saturday night could happen in their city, boarded up doors and windows to deter any possible looting activity.A curfew has been enacted in Poway starting at 8 p.m. until 5:30 a.m. Monday.In a statement, the City of Poway said:"To our Poway community: The safety of our community is our number one priority.
