SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- At least six people were injured Thursday morning after a head-on crash in Dulzura.According to Cal Fire San Diego, the crash happened on state Route 94 near Otay Truck Trail at around 7:30 a.m.The circumstances surrounding the crash are still unclear, but Cal Fire says one person was taken to the hospital with major injuries, and five others had minor injuries.The condition of the person rushed to the hospital is unclear at this time. 468

This is a move to get people to buy local take-out, and picnic outdoors.Coronado also approved gyms to hold classes at Spreckels Park, Bradley Field, and the beach."We feel fortunate that we live in a town where we can just jump out into the park and do yoga," Stephanie Anderson with Island Yoga Coronado said.Tuesday, San Diego Mayor Kevin Faulconer signed an Executive Order waiving permitting requirements for sidewalks and parking lots for restaurants expanding outdoors.On the same day, Chula Vista approved plans to block off car traffic on Third Avenue on weekend evenings. This will help diners expand their businesses onto the entire street, not just on sidewalks and parking lots. The Third Avenue Village Association will discuss details and the start date at a special meeting next Wednesday.On Wednesday, Poway approved its Shared Outside Spaces (SOS) program, which lets houses of worship and gyms to hold activities at city parks. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — Continuing its success breeding the first southern white rhino through artificial insemination, the San Diego Zoo Safari Park welcomed a second rhino to the mix last week.The unnamed female rhino was born on Nov. 21 just after midnight at the zoo, becoming the 100th southern white rhino born overall at the Safari Park.The rhino's mother, 11-year-old Amani, gave birth to the calf at the park's Nikita Kahn Rescue Center, where she did extremely well during labor and is now bonding with the new calf, the zoo says.RELATED: San Diego Zoo's baby southern white rhino charges into life at the parkThe rhino is the second southern white rhino born via hormone-induced ovulation and artificial insemination in North America. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — Border officials seized more than 10 tons of marijuana hidden behind a cargo shipment at the Otay Mesa Port of Entry this week.At about 9 a.m. Monday, an agent with U.S. Customs and Border Protection was inspecting a truck with a manifested shipment of "plastic garment hangers." The vehicle was referred to a secondary inspection where an x-ray machines would continue the inspection.During the secondary inspection, officers detected an anomaly which prompted another examination this time with a canine.
