(AP) — Authorities say divers have found the body of the last missing victim in a fatal boat fire that killed 34 people off the Southern California coast.The victim is one of 34 who died at sea last week near Santa Cruz Island. Five of the Conception's six crew members survived after multiple attempts to save the others who were trapped below deck.Authorities have said the victims, 21 women and 13 men from 16 to 62 years old, appear to have died from smoke inhalation. One of the victims was San Diegan Nicole Quitasol, a waitress at Nickey Rotten's in Coronado.The Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office also said Wednesday on Twitter that authorities are still doing DNA testing to confirm the identities of seven of the victims.  A woman wielding a kitchen knife has attacked at least 14 children at a kindergarten in Chongqing in central China, local police said Friday.Chongqing City Banan District police said the children were slashed as they walked back to class after their morning exercises at Yudong New Century Kindergarten about 9.30 a.m. local time.Videos circulating on Chinese social media showed small children bleeding from severe cuts to their faces at the entrance of the kindergarten as stunned adults looked on.School security guards and staff restrained the 39-year-old attacker and took her into custody. Video from the scene appeared to show angry onlookers attempting to hit and kick the woman after she was detained.Chongqing resident Xia Yang said the attack had shocked residents of the city, a metropolis of some 30 million people.Nearby residents said the kindergarten doesn't have any outdoor space for the children, and they have to use a local public park for their morning exercises."It happened when the children were entering the school gate ... The attacker just ran at them with a knife. The teachers were dumbstruck," said Zhang Jing, who lives close to the school.He told CNN old people out shopping for groceries had intervened to stop the attack.An unknown number of students were taken to a nearby hospital following the incident, according to police.Video from the hospital showed adults wailing in grief as children covered in blood were rushed from ambulances into the building. Karen Policastro with recruiting firm Robert Half says potential employers are not showing up for interviews, phone calls or work.Former hiring manager Craig Commings says he’s gotten used to new hires not showing up for the job."It was probably one-third of the time they showed up and two-thirds of the time they didn't," Commings says.A recent survey by Robert Half says 28 percent of people backed out of a job offer. They said it was because they received a better offer from another company.Ghosting is happening more to employers during the hiring process. Policastro says it may seem easier to avoid an awkward situation, but honesty is the best policy.Policastro says, at minimum, send an email updating them on your status. Then tell them, "thank you for the offer, but I have to turn it down."Experts suggest leveraging the better job."You never know when they may come back and say, 'I understand that you have a job offer, let’s see if we can up the ante,' " Policastro says.Job seeker Evan Piedrahita has the right idea, too. (CNN) -- An American woman has been charged with human trafficking after allegedly trying to smuggle a six-day-old baby out of the Philippines.At a press conference by the Philippines National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Thursday, International Airport Investigation Division chief Manuel Dimaano said the 43-year-old U.S. woman had used a sling bag to allegedly hide the baby while passing through immigration, and did not provide any documentation for the child.Dimaano said that after immigration, the woman allegedly removed the baby from the bag and was carrying it when she tried to board her Delta Airlines flight at Manila's Ninoy Aquino International Airport.Philippines authorities were contacted when the woman couldn't provide documentation for the child when asked by Delta Airlines crew at the boarding gate."She has been charged with a violation of the Anti-trafficking in Persons Act of 2003," NBI spokesperson Auralyn Pascual said."The child's situation must have been very difficult during the time that he was put inside that bag."Dimaano said the mother had been contacted by authorities and would be charged. Police have not been able to find the child's father, he added.The Philippines Bureau of Immigration first announced on Wednesday that it had detained the woman. CNN Philippines reported that when discovered, she claimed to be the child's aunt.The NBI said the woman allegedly carried the baby from Davao to Manila, before attempting to fly out of the country.
