BISHKEK, Sept. 13 (Xinhua) -- Chinese President Xi Jinping on Friday put forward a proposal on boosting comprehensive cooperation within the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
"The Chinese economy will keep growing in the long term, in a sustained and healthy way," he said, highlighting the country's expanding domestic demand, as well as its efforts for new-type industrialization, urbanization, the application of information technology, agricultural modernization and its strategy of green development.
According to a joint communique after the Li-Medvedev meeting, the two side also pledged to boost cooperation on movies, mass media, literature, medical care and sports meetings.
