Deputies say for some reason, Matthew became angry and began to follow another vehicle and displayed a weapon to the driver.At one point, the truck cut off the driver and came to a stop, deputies say.Deputies said Matthew got out of his truck and started punching the driver's side window. Once the driver opened the door, Matthew took about ,000 worth of jewelry and money from the driver, deputies added.During the confrontation, John used a metal tool to smash the driver's windshield and the windshield of a second car not involved in the original incident, deputies say. VISTA, Calif. – A man was arrested Monday after authorities say he stabbed his wife and daughter inside their Vista home. The incident happened Sunday night just before 8 p.m. on the 1000 block of Corvalla Drive.According to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department, during a fight with his wife and daughter, 55-year-old Juventino Vazquez grabbed a knife from a closet.Following a struggle, Vazquez reportedly stabbed both his wife and daughter several times before leaving the home.Both victims were taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries. Vazquez was arrested Monday afternoon after a witness reported a suspicious person on the 900 block of Barsby Street.He was booked into jail for attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon and violating a domestic violence restraining order with injuries. 831
