President Donald Trump will make two campaign stops in the upper Midwest Monday as he attempts to sway voters in crucial battleground states of Minnesota and Wisconsin.Trump's campaign stops will come the same day that Democrats will open their party convention — a convention originally scheduled to take place in nearby Milwaukee, Wisconsin, but which has since been rescheduled to take place virtually.According to the official White House schedule, Trump will first travel to Mankato, Minnesota and deliver remarks at North Star Aviation. He'll then fly to Oshkosh, Wisconsin, where he'll deliver a speech at the city's airport.Trump is expected to deliver a speech on "jobs and the economy" at both locations, according to the official White House schedule.The state of Wisconsin proved critical to Trump's victory in 2016, where he broke through the Democrats' "Blue Wall" in the Upper Midwest and edged out a close victory in the state. The state could again prove critical in 2020 election, and recent polls show presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden with a slight edge in the state.Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton carried Minnesota during the 2016 election.Trump's comments come the same day that an ABC/Washington Post poll showed Biden leading nationally with 53% to 41% lead. 1308

President Donald Trump says he hopes he can end birthright citizenship in the United States with an executive order, according to an interview with Axios.In a minute-long preview of Axios' upcoming HBO series, Trump tells Axios reporter Jonathan Swan that it's "ridiculous" that any child born in the United States is automatically granted citizenship."We're the only country in the world where a person comes in, has a baby and the baby is essentially a citizen of the United States for 85 years with all of those benefits. It's ridiculous and it has to end," Trump said.Trump also stated that he believes the statute could be overturned by an act of Congress, though he's confident an executive order would be sufficient. He was aboard Marine One en route when they had to return, according to reporters traveling with him.Trump was disappointed and pretty frustrated he had to turn back on the attempted visit to the zone, known as the DMZ, according to White House press secretary Sarah Sanders.He was to join South Korean President Moon Jae-in as a symbol of a strong alliance. Rent the Runway announced on Friday that they would not be reopening their stores.In a blog post, the clothing rental company said they would focus on expanding their drop-off box program, with their New York flagship store turning into a drop-off-only site. According to the company's website, its locations in San Francisco, Washington D.C., and Chicago are permanently closed.The stores were used for customers to drop off items and swap out for whatever they needed."With customers in 76% of US zip codes and RTR stores in only 5 of them, less than 15% of our customers were served by our stores — but the drop-off capability was so loved by them," the company said in the blog post.
