Once you plug in your location, the new option will pop up on the bottom far left of your screen.A quick trial test of Express Pool found the service to be a dollar cheaper than Uber Pool. However, you'll have to walk a block or two to be picked up by your driver.The logic behind the new service is to help Uber drivers be able to drive in a straight line to pick up pool passengers. That way, there are no out-of-the-way stops.However, it could mean for a slower pickup time. Also, with any Pool ride from Uber, you will most likely share the ride with other riders.Despite walking out of the way and waiting a bit longer, a test of Express Pool still got riders to their destinations on time.  894

However, health experts say we'll need them to achieve herd immunity and get back to a more normal life.“There's really a deep empathy for the hesitancy people are feeling. This is a big deal. It's normal to have questions about what's going on and we just want people to get the information they can to make empowered choices for them and their families, so we can really get back to what matters most for each and every one of us,” said Michelle Hillman, Campaign Development Officer at The Advertising Council.The Ad Counsel is the agency behind decades of important messages like "friends don't let friends drive drunk."Now, they are working on likely one of the most important campaigns of this generation, convincing people to take a COVID-19 vaccine.Right now, it's in the early stages of research and won't roll out on TV, radio and online until early next year when a vaccine is more widely available. But you can expect a lot of different spokespeople from doctors and pharmacists, to athletes and musicians.“The messenger in this case is going to be even more important in some ways than the actual message itself,” said Hillman.There will also be variations of the COVID-19 vaccine campaign to address specific groups, like communities of color. They've been more severely impacted by the virus and tend to have more vaccine hesitancy. So, partnerships in the messaging will be important.“We know that you know these on the community level people are already turning to churches and nonprofits and trusted messengers on issues like health care, hope, inspiration and all of them are really going to have to be messengers on this important campaign to break through to get people the information they need,” said Hillman.According to recent Pew research, only about 60% of adults say they would get a vaccine. THORNTON, Colo. – Police have arrested the suspect in a deadly shooting at a Thornton Walmart store.Scott Ostrem, 47, was taken into custody Thursday morning at 72nd and Federal.Witnesses told Thornton Police that Ostrem "nonchalantly" walked into the store Wednesday night, took out a handgun and began firing randomly at people. Two men and a woman were killed."This is a very heinous act," Avila said. The store was evacuated as authorities arrived on scene.Police found the victims in the south entrance. The two men were pronounced dead at the scene. The female victim was transported to Denver Health where she later succumbed to her injuries. Authorities have yet to identify the victims.No other physical injuries were reported. However, police say several people received medical attention for anxiety. Several distraught employees could be seen in the parking lot comforting each other.Investigators say there is no indication that terrorism was a motive, but have not ruled anything out at this point. They are still interviewing hundreds of witnesses and going through surveillance video.Special agents with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives were helping police in the investigation.The shooting at the busy shopping center forced customers to either hide in the store or frantically run for the doors.Witness Harold Stevens said he was in the store with his son when he heard at least three shots.
