FRANKFURT, Germany (AP) — Air travel will take even longer than previously thought to return to pre-virus levels. That's the gloomy prediction from the air transport trade association or IATA. They are pushing their forecast back by a year, to 2024. That's when they say travel will make it back to 2019 levels. "A slower recovery will put more airlines in financial peril," a release from the trade association stated. "And, as we have said many times in these briefings, government relief measures are essential."In June, air travel around the world was down 86% compared to a year earlier. Former NFL quarterback Johnny Manziel is slated to take his talents north of the border, as Manziel announced on Saturday he has signed a contract with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the CFL. Manziel has faced challenges both on and off the football field since winning the 2012 Heisman Trophy. In 2016, Manziel was charged with domestic violence. Those charges were later dismissed. Also in 2016, Manziel was suspended for four games for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy.After an impressive collegiate stint at Texas A&M, Manziel's football career quickly flamed out. Manziel hasn't played professional football since 2015, when he was a member of the Cleveland Browns. Over two seasons, Manziel played in 15 games, and threw seven touchdowns and seven interceptions. "I don't want to wait around any more," Manziel said on Saturday. "I want to get on the field and get in the locker room and get a chance to play ball again. This is the best opportunity for me." Manziel said he is grateful for a second chance at professional football. Manziel is expected not to start at quarterback Hamilton, coach June Jones said. He will compete for the backup job behind former Oregon star Jeremiah Masoli. "Johnny is going to be a competitive player in this league," Jones said. "I feel he'll compete and competition makes everyone better."Manziel said he is ready to move forward and has learned from past missteps. "I have learned a lot from the mistakes. I feel like I wouldn't be where I am today on a personal, on a football level, going back into a locker room, if I didn't go through what I went through," Manziel said. "I am back to a point in my life where I am not taking anything for granted."One name mentioned in Manziel's press conference in Hamilton was Doug Flutie. Both Flutie and Manziel won the Heisman Trophy and went to the CFL after initial struggles in the NFL out of college. Flutie revitalized his career in Canada winning three Grey Cups. When Flutie returned to the NFL, he became a Pro Bowler. While Manziel would like another chance at the NFL, he said he will be with Hamilton for the "long haul."  2253

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is recalling more than 180,000 Ram pickup trucks because of a potentially dangerous problem with their gear shifters.The recall includes 1500, 2500, 3500, 4500, and 5500 pickup trucks from the 2017-2018 model years.The agency says the fault “may increase the risk of an unintended vehicle rollaway” that could result in a crash or injury, according to consumer reports.A Fiat Chrysler Automobiles investigation discovered the Brake Transmission Shift Interlock (BTSI) may overheat on certain vehicles equipped with steering column gear-shifters. FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Colorado State University says it “deeply regrets” the experience two Native American teens underwent on a campus tour earlier this week, but says it has been unsuccessful in getting ahold of the family.“Early this week, University officials reached out directly to the family of the young men & their high school. We’d like the opportunity to speak w/Ms. Gray & her sons but we have not heard back from the family. We ask them to please get in touch with us at their convenience,” the university said in a string of tweets posted to its official Twitter account.“We will refund any expenses they incurred traveling to CSU. We deeply regret the unwelcoming and concerning experience they had while guests on our campus,” the university added. “The Office of Admissions, Office of the Vice President for Diversity, Native American Culture Center, and CSU Police Department all are reviewing how such an incident can be avoided or handled differently in the future.” 1002

Former "The Price is Right" host Bob Barker, 94, was hospitalized on Monday with non-life threatening injuries, Hollywood Reporter confirmed. Hollywood Reporter said that ambulances were dispatched to Barker's Los Angeles residence at 1 p.m. PT.Barker's manager told TMZ that the 94-year-old woke up to severe back pain. TMZ captured photos of Barker being loaded onto the back of an ambulance. He was then transported to Cedars-Sinai hospital.Barker was a fixture of daytime TV since the early days of television. Barker spent 35 years as host of The Price is Right until his retirement in 2007. Before The Price Is Right, Barker hosted "Truth or Consequences" for 18 years. Barker will celebrate his 95th birthday on Dec. 12. 765
