"China will strengthen cooperation with the international community and resolutely crack down on terrorist activities that kill innocents and safeguard peace and stability of the world," according an instruction made by President Xi Jinping.
"Remember the APEC meeting in Beijing last year? The organizational capacity of China is very strong. Next year, every single G20-related meeting will be a great meeting," he said.
It was Xi's first visit to Singapore as Chinese president. This year marks the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between the two countries.
They urged enhanced international financial supervision and accelerated reform of international financial institutions.
"We need to devote ourselves to win-win cooperation, resist protectionism and facilitate fair competition," added the president.
