(AP) — Apple is rolling out new Mac computers powered by the same kind of chips that run iPhones and iPads, a move aimed at making it easier for its most popular products to work together.Macs using the new chips will run the same apps designed for the iPhone's mobile operating system. SAN ONOFRE (KGTV) -- Police chased a domestic violence suspect from Los Angeles County to San Diego County Thursday night. The driver, who has family in Tijuana, was believe to be heading to the border, according to our ABC affiliate in L.A.?At one point, the suspect may have ran over a spike strip, slowing him down. Once near the Camp Pendleton area police attempted two pit maneuvers. Shortly after the suspect drove off the freeway and into the brush, where he ultimately turned off the car and exited his vehicle. Police were able to take him into custody around 11:20 p.m. and began to search the vehicle. *This is a developing story. 10News will continue to update as more details unfold.  730

SAN YSIDRO, Calif. (KGTV) — San Diego County will set up a coronavirus testing site at one of the world's busiest border crossings.County Supervisor Greg Cox said Wednesday the testing site will be at San Ysidro Port of Entry's PedWest crossing and serve about 200 tests daily. The testing site will be used for essential workers coming into the U.S. from Mexico and returning U.S. citizens. The walk-up site will also be appointment-free.PedWest serves pedestrians between Tijuana and San Diego. 504

(KGTV) - A 3-month-old golden retriever puppy with a price tag of ,700 was stolen from a pet shop Thursday night in Santee.That’s according to Sharon Franco, the owner of Pups and Pets, who has surveillance video of an unidentified man grabbing the dog while in a play-pen and running out the front door.The man had been in the store earlier but came back a second time and asked to play with the golden retriever puppy, said Franco.He played with it for about 5 minutes before he picked it up and ran out of the store.Two employees tried to run after him but said a car was waiting outside. (KGTV) - Southern California cities affected by the Thomas fire were evacuated Wednesday morning due to the threat of mudslides from an approaching storm.The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office issued a Recommended Evacuation Warning at 8 a.m. for the Thomas, Sherpa and Whittier burn areas in Santa Barbara, Goleta, Montecito, Summerland and Carpinteria.A National Weather Service report indicated the area may receive moderate to heavy rainfall from a storm arriving Thursday that may generate mud and debris flows.RELATED: Local crew saves family from Montecito?mudslideThere is a high risk for loss of life and property, the SBCSO said.
