BEIJING, May 15 (Xinhua) -- China on Tuesday began issuing a new type of passport featuring an electronic chip that contains the holder's personal information.

Apple bought the rights to use the trademark from Proview Taipei in February 2010 via IP Application Development Limited (IP), a company registered in Britain. However, Proview Shenzhen claims it still reserves the right to use the trademark on the Chinese mainland. The two sides have been tangled in a legal dispute ever since.

Since 2005, two-way merchandise trade with China has grown by almost 60 percent, and has held strong throughout the global economic crisis. Between 2005 and 2010, Canadian merchandise exports to China grew by some 83 percent, from 7.2 billion to 13.2 billion Canadian dollars.

Hua said that China is willing to make joint efforts with Kenya, to maintain high-level exchanges, strengthen exchanges in various aspects, including legislative bodies, and continue to deepen the bilateral friendly cooperation and coordination in international affairs.
