(KGTV) -- A Central Valley man has been arrested for reportedly attempting to join ISIS, according to KGO.The man, identified as Bernard Raymond Augustine, 20, from Keyes, California was arrested on charges of providing material support to terrorists.Augustine was taken into custody while trying to enter Libya to join the Islamic State terrorist group.Augustine is expected to make his first appearance in federal court in Brooklyn Tuesday, according to authorities.Records show that Augustine told U.S. Customs he was going to Tunisia, where he was later arrested, for a vacation.After searching through his computer, authorities discovered a song that praised ISIS and messages sent by Augustine that seemed to do the same. 740

(KGTV) — A rapidly-spreading wildfire tore through thousands of acres in Northern California Thursday, as strong winds and low humidity brought a red flag warning to the region.The Camp Fire sparked at about 6:30 a.m. in the Pulga area, near Paradise, Calif., in Butte County. Within a few hours, the blaze had charred at least 5,000 acres.By 7 p.m. Thursday, the fire had reached 20,000 acres. Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom, who is currently acting governor with Gov. (KGTV) - An earthquake struck northern Mexico’s Baja California peninsula Monday, causing tremors felt in San Diego County.The 4.8 quake was located near Alberto Oviedo Mota at 12:18 p.m.The initial quake was followed by a 3.3 aftershock in the same area seven minutes later.Alberto Oviedo Mota is roughly 160 miles from San Diego. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the shaking in San Diego County was in the II-III or IV categories, meaning weak to light. The strongest shaking reported in the U.S. was in El Centro, which was considered moderate.There are no immediate reports of damage or injuries. 626
