BEIJING, Oct. 21 (Xinhua) -- A symposium was held in Beijing Monday to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the birth of late senior political advisor Ma Man-kei.

The seminar was co-hosted by the RCSC and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.
As for safeguarding multilateralism and strengthening global governance, Ma voiced China's determination to make joint efforts with other BRICS countries to safeguard the rules-based multilateral trade system, the international order based on international law, and the international system with the UN at the core.
After lifting the restrictions on U.S. poultry products, China's poultry import source will be further expanded so as to meet market demands effectively, the officials said.
