The oldest of the five teens accused of throwing a large rock off a Michigan overpass and causing a man's death will spend 15 additional months in jail.Kyle Anger, who turns 20 this week, was sentenced Tuesday to 39 months in prison. He will get credit for the 740 days he's spent in jail since his arrest two years ago.Anger pleaded guilty to second-degree murder.In October 2017, 32-year-old Kenneth White died after a 6-pound rock crashed through his windshield as he drove on I-75 in Michigan.Anger planned the prank. He reportedly loaded up his pickup with rocks and threw the rock that killed White.Four other teens charged in the case accepted plea agreements. 679

The Minnesota National Guard confirmed that three guardsmen died after a UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter went down near St. Cloud, Minnesota, on Thursday. There were no survivors on board the helicopter.The Minnesota National Guard said that they lost contact with the crew around 2:05 p.m. CT. The National Guard was conducting a maintenance test flight on the Blackhawk."Our Minnesota National Guard family is devastated by the deaths of these soldiers," said Maj. Gen. Jon Jensen, the Adjutant General of the Minnesota National Guard. "Our priority right now is ensuring that our families are taken care of."The identities of the guardsmen are being withheld pending next of kin notification. The body of University of Utah student Mackenzie Lueck has been found in a canyon north of Salt Lake City, police said Friday.Salt Lake City Police Chief Mike Brown said in a news conference that he was "relieved and grief-stricken" to report that Lueck's body was recovered Wednesday in Logan Canyon, about 90 miles north of Salt Lake City. Investigators were subsequently able to forensically confirm it was Lueck, Brown said.The 23-year-old was last seen in the early morning hours of June 17 when she was dropped off at a park in North Salt Lake City. The Miami Dolphins waived second-year running back Mark Walton after he was arrested Tuesday morning, with police accusing him of repeatedly punching the mother of his unborn child in the face.An officer responded to a residence in the Miami suburb of Davie around 4:15 a.m. and learned that Walton had been in an argument with a woman, according to a police report.The woman was five weeks pregnant, the report said, and had told Walton on Sunday that the child was his."During the course of the argument, Walton pushed (the woman) against a wall and punched her several times in the face and head. I observed (the woman) to have swelling on her left eye," the responding Davie officer wrote in his report. The victim's name was redacted in the report.Walton is charged with aggravated assault on a pregnant woman, the report says. Walton remained in the Broward County Jail, pending a Wednesday hearing that would determine his bond status.Walton's attorney, Michael Gottlieb, said he spoke with his client Tuesday. He told CNN, "I don't believe Mr. Walton is guilty of the charges as alleged."In a statement, the Dolphins said they waived Walton."We were made aware of a police matter earlier this morning regarding Mark Walton," Dolphins general manager Chris Grier said. "We hold our players to a high standard and take these matters very seriously. We will have no further comment at this time."The Cincinnati Bengals selected Walton, who played at the University of Miami, in the fourth round of the 2018 NFL Draft.
