ORLANDO, Fla. – Disney World has closed a loophole that allowed guests not to wear face masks while walking around the park, if they were eating or drinking something.In its updated guidelines, the amusement park says you may still remove your face covering while actively eating or drinking, “but you should be stationary and maintain appropriate physical distancing.”Before the guidelines were updated, visitors were reportedly seen walking throughout the park with beverages and food, but without masks.Face coverings are required for all guests at the park, ages 2 and up. The only other exception listed on the park’s website is while swimming.Disney says all face coverings must be made with at least two layers of breathable material, fully cover the nose and mouth, fit snugly but comfortably against the face, and be secured with ties or loops. One volunteer Santa Claus might end up on the "naughty list" this Christmas as a 66-year-old New Jersey man who dresses up as Santa for the holidays was accused of possessing a crack pipe on Monday, WABC-TV reported. Charles Smith, of Pompton Lakes, New Jersey, was charged with two counts of drug paraphernalia, WABC reported. South Hackensack Police Department Captain Robert Kaiser told WABC that Smith was found with a crack pipe and empty bags of crack and heroin.Smith was pulled over by law enforcement on Monday, and was arrested after officers spotted the crack pipe in plain view. Police added that Smith's Santa costume was also in plain view. WABC reported that Smith works as a volunteer for the Toys for Tots program.  785

OCEANSIDE, Calif. - A U.S. Border Patrol agent was arrested in North San Diego County on suspicion of possessing heroin and a short-barrel rifle, Oceanside Police reported Tuesday.Officers were patrolling an apartment complex on Los Arbolitos Blvd. where a suspicious person had been reported last week. That's when they reportedly found Brandon Herrera. He was passed out in the driver’s seat of a Ford pickup truck parked on a nearby street, police said.Oceanside Police said they found more than five grams of heroin and a weapon at the scene.The U.S. Border Patrol confirmed with Scripps station KGTV in San Diego it is gathering information about the report.Herrera is due in court April 17. 719

OCEANSIDE, Calif. (KGTV) - A man was taken into custody in Oceanside on Monday morning after police say he broke into a short-term rental and sexually assaulted a woman. The sexual assault happened around 4 a.m. on the 800 block of South Pacific Street. According to police, Kwahmell Archer entered the home through an unlocked front door. Oceanside Police said there were 20 people inside the three-story rental when the suspect walked into a closet, got undressed and entered a sleeping woman’s bedroom. The 49-year-old woman woke up and screamed when the man grabbed her, waking up the rest of the house. Police said the suspect then ran back into the closet and was pinned inside by other people inside the house. Police arrived and took the man into custody. 773

OCEANSIDE, Calif. (KGTV) -- A dramatic arrest of a man following a police pursuit that started in San Juan Capistrano and ended in Oceanside.The California Highway Patrol said it all started around 11 p.m. Sunday night when officers attempted to pull over a silver car that was weaving and traveling with no lights on Interstate 5. The driver never stopped, leading officers on a pursuit for about 20 minutes.When the chase entered San Diego County, CHP officers used a spike strip to slow down the car near Camp Pendleton, with the Carlsbad Police Department's help.The car eventually pulled into the center divider at Oceanside Blvd., but the driver refused to come out. Officers used munitions to break the back window and had a K-9 drag the man out.The driver was resisting arrest and had to be wrestled onto a gurney and taken to the hospital.No officers were injured. All southbound and northbound lanes of the I-5 were closed for about half an hour. 964
