Life coach Tony Robbins apologized Sunday for his comments about the #MeToo movement after suggesting during a March event that some women use it to gain significance by playing the victim.Robbins argued with a woman name Nanine McCool during a March 15 Unleash the Power Within event about how the #MeToo movement is being used. McCool posted the exchange on her personal YouTube account on March 25. Robbins immediately faced backlash for what he said."My comments failed to reflect the respect I have for everything Tarana Burke and the #MeToo movement has achieved," Robbins said in a statement, referencing the woman credited with starting the movement in 2006. (KGTV) – An investigation was launched after at least one bullet struck a car traveling on state Route 94 in the Lemon Grove area.The California Highway Patrol said the incident was reported at around 3:30 a.m. on the eastbound side of SR-94, near College Avenue.According to CHP officials, the 63-year-old driver of a Cadillac CTS said he noticed a black or dark-colored sedan driving behind him for several miles prior to the gunfire.The Cadillac’s driver said the vehicle pulled up to his side and then shots were fired, shattering the driver’s side rear window.The vehicle continued on eastbound SR-94 as the Cadillac pulled over. ABC 10News learned the driver called 911 after the bullet came through the rear driver side window and lodged in the passenger side pillar.The driver was not injured.CHP shut down the right two lanes of the SR-94 from Lemon Grove to Federal Blvd for a few hours as part of their investigation. 956

(KGTV) -- One thing Ernie Togerson, VP for Teague Insurance, and his partner knew when COVID-19 hit, was they wanted to help."We were talking about it and said I really want to do something in the La Mesa community because we're in the La Mesa community." What they didn't know, was how long they'd be helping, for."When we were at 20 weeks the head nurse said 'I never have to worry about folks calling in sick Thursday nights because they know they're gonna get a meal'," Togerson said.23 weeks later, they're still giving free meals to Sharp Grossmont's Intensive Care Unit every Thursday at 8 P.M. on the dot. "We get a chance to talk to them and ask how it's going." COVID hit home for Togerson, his son's an ICU nurse in Michigan. "I told my son we want to do something he said 'bring them meals for the night shift because the day shift gets all the love, and the night shift gets the leftovers'."All of the meals they donate are from restaurants that Teague Insurance covers. While feeding nurses, they're also helping local restaurants, many hit hard from the pandemic.So far, Teague has given out over 300 meals for frontline workers since the start of their efforts.
