The Hubbard Avenue Diner just outside Madison, Wisconsin announced on their Facebook page that they will soon be serving 'Pie Tacos.'The restaurant, which was been working on the tacos for a while, will start selling them April 12th and will feature four flavors: Apple, Cherry, French Silk and Key Lime.All four versions of the taco will be baked in a pie crust shell and will be served in a traditional taco rack like you'd see at Bel Air Cantina in Milwaukee.Along with the fillings, the Apple Pie will be covered with a streusel topping, the Cherry will have a sugared "lattice" crust on top, the French Silk is topped with whipped cream and chocolate flakes, and the Key Lime is topped with whipped cream and lime zest.Fans of the restaurant certainly seem excited about the idea."Get one? The National Hurricane Center has issued a hurricane watch for sections of the Gulf Coast as Louisiana and Texas prepares for a second tropical system this week.Tropical Storm Laura, which had top winds of 65 MPH as of 11 p.m. ET Monday, is expected to turn into the Gulf of Mexico and strengthen into a hurricane. The potential hurricane is expected to hit either the Texas or Louisiana coast late Wednesday.A hurricane watch is in effect from Port Bolivar, Texas, to west of Morgan City, Louisiana. A tropical storm watch is in effect from south of Port Bolivar, Texas, to San Luis Pass, Texas, and from Morgan City, Louisiana to the Mouth of the Mississippi River.As of Monday morning, Laura was dumping heavy rain on both Cuba and Jamaica. According to the National Hurricane Center, the storms could cause mudslides and urban flash floods on the islands.Laura has already caused the deaths of at least 11 people in the Dominican Republic and Haiti, while knocking out power and causing flooding Sunday.Meanwhile, Tropical Depression Marco, made landfall along the Louisiana coast Monday evening, according to the National Hurricane Center, as a minimal tropical storm. The police officer who fatally shot 12-year-old Tamir Rice in Cleveland four years ago was recently hired by a police department in eastern Ohio, CNN affiliate WTOV-TV reported, citing the department's police chief.Timothy Loehmann is one of six new officers hired in the Village of Bellaire, about 65 miles southwest of Pittsburgh. The town on the Ohio River has a population of about 4,170.Bellaire Police Chief Richard "Dick" Flanagan told WTOV that Loehmann applied to several police departments and still wanted to be a police officer."He's not quitting on being a police officer. He made a decision (in 2014) that's going to stay with him the rest of his life," Flanagan said. "Like anybody else, if you make a mistake, someone's got to give you a second chance, give someone opportunity. There is no worry, I stand behind this officer ... The lake in California, where former "Glee" star Naya Rivera tragically drowned in July, has reopened and banned swimming.The Lake Piru Recreational Area reopened on Aug. 20, according to the park's Facebook page.The park had been closed since July 9, since the actress first went missing.The park continued to stay close due to the coronavirus pandemic and the wildfires ravaging California.Still, residents told TMZ that they believe the park's restrictions somehow related to Rivera drowning in the Ventura County lake.Since reopening, the park has put precautions, including a swimming ban, the park's website stated.The park says shore fishing, personal watercraft, and boating activities are permitted.Rivera went missing on July 8 while boating with her 4-year-old son at the lake. Ventura County Sheriff's Office said Rivera rented a boat at the lake and excursed her son.Authorities were alerted when other boaters later found Rivera's boat drifting in the northern portion of the lake with her son sleeping onboard.Rivera's body was found on July 13.At the time, Sheriff Bill Ayub said Rivera and her son were swimming when the actress began to get tired. He thinks Rivera mustered enough energy to get her son on the boat but couldn't climb back in herself.Investigators believe Rivera drowned in what appears to be a "tragic accident," the office wrote in a press release.On July 14, an autopsy by the Ventura County Medical Examiner revealed Rivera's death as drowning.Her death certificate, which was obtained by People and The Blast, said the actress died within a "manner of minutes."After Rivera's death, a petition on Change.org was created urging park officials to put signs up warning swimmers of how dangerous the lake was.According to the Los Angeles Times, seven people have drowned in the lake between 1994 and 2000. 1848
