Crews in Baltimore County, Maryland are at the scene of an explosion inside of an apartment building on Wednesday. Officials say the explosion happened on the second floor of the apartment building in the 3400 block of Carriage Hill Circle. COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- Two sororities at Texas A&M University are forced to quarantine after having been exposed to COVID-19.The university announced the activities and members of Kappa Kappa Gamma and Delta Delta Delta are experiencing exposure to the virus.Texas A&M has initiated chapter-wide quarantine and contact tracing for those who live in the sorority houses or elsewhere and were in contact.The chapters have been responsive and are responsibly following required steps to continue operations, according to the university.Students, faculty, or staff who receive a positive diagnosis or believe they have been exposed to a positive case must complete a form through the university's reporting portal.Gatherings have also been restricted to 10 or fewer people.Texas A&M kicked off the fall semester both online and in-person on August 19.This story was first reported by Sydney Isenberg at KXXV in Waco, Texas. 942

CORONADO, Calif. (KGTV) -- A man was hospitalized late Monday night after police say he was stabbed while on an MTS bus.According to Coronado police, the stabbing took place along State Route 75 and Leyte Road around 11:30 p.m.Passengers on the bus say it began when two men got into an argument.Witnesses say the victim was stabbed six times.The victim was taken to UCSD Medical Center, and his current condition is unclear.Police say one person is in custody. 469

CINCINNATI, Ohio — Customs officials in Cincinnati discovered thousands of live crabs that they said someone was trying to smuggle into the country.Agriculture specialists with U.S. Customs and Border Protection discovered the invasive Chinese mitten crabs on Oct. 16 while conducting routine inspections, the agency said in a news release.The crabs are considered a seasonal delicacy in Asia, according to Customs officials. But they have had a "disastrous impact" on habitats where they've been introduced.The crabs were hidden in packages labeled as various types of clothing. They were being sent to various residences in New York. The shipments were refused entry into the U.S. Across the country, Customs agriculture specialists intercepted more than 352 pests and 4,638 quarantine materials on any given day in the fiscal year 2017, according to the agency. 877
