ANTIOCH, Tenn. — The Associated Press, CBS, and NBC News are reporting that federal investigators have been searching through the home of a possible person of interest in connection to the explosion that rocked downtown Nashville on Christmas morning.The AP reported that agencies were at a home in Antioch in suburban Nashville after receiving information regarding the investigation.According to CBS and NBC News, investigators searched the home of 63-year-old Anthony Quinn Warner.Scripps sister station in Nashville WTVF discovered just weeks ago - he signed over his longtime home to a 29-year old woman who lives in California.Property records show he sold her another house nearby a year earlier.We don't know much about Warner, other than the likely owned an alarm company during the 1990s.Law enforcement received more than 500 tips that led them to this home on Bakertown Road in Antioch.Marco Rodriguez lives in the same building as Warner. He said at around 10 a.m. on Saturday federal agents told him to evacuate."They came in and told us to get out just in case there was a bomb or something," Rodriguez said.Federal agents and metro police spent the day combing through Warner's home, making sure it was safe and looking for evidence.Neighbors tell me when police showed the picture of the RV that was used in the downtown bombing, they immediately recognized it."It was parked over there all the time," Rodriguez said, "It's weird because it could've been us if he wanted to like blow us up or the bomb could've malfunctioned."WTVF was able to dig up property assessment photos of the home. ANDERSON, Ind. — A convicted killer already serving two life sentences without parole and accused of killing a fellow prisoner last summer told a Madison County judge this week he will keep killing people until he's given the death penalty.Tommy Holland, 45, made the statement Tuesday during a hearing in Madison Circuit Court. Madison County Prosecutor Rodney Cummings said Holland had been expected to plead guilty to the Aug. 9, 2019 stabbing death of Clifford Bagget, 28. In exchange for the plea, Holland was expected to receive his third life sentence, Cummings said.The stabbing happened inside the Pendleton Correctional Facility. Holland was serving two life sentences for murder out of Marion County. Bagget, of Florida, was serving time for aggravated battery, battery, and possession of methamphetamine, according to court records.Instead, the scene inside the Madison County courtroom was much different."His lawyer said [Holland] wanted to make a statement and that it was coming against the advice of counsel," Cummings said. "What he basically said was, if you don't give me the death penalty I'm going to keep killing people until you give it to me."The hearing did not proceed with the entering of a guilty plea. Instead, the judge ordered Holland to undergo a competency evaluation.Cummings said he will consider the unusual request but there are other factors under consideration as well."I don't want to waste taxpayer money," Cummings said.In addition, the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals in Chicago has not upheld a death penalty sentence brought to them on appeal in 11 years so the likelihood of a sentence of death being carried out against Holland is slim, Cummings said.Holland is currently being housed in segregation at Indiana State Prison in Michigan City, Cummings said. As hundreds of homeless wait to return to the Alpha Project tent in downtown after it was flooded last week, San Diegans are stepping in to give them a little holiday cheer.ABC 10News reporter Natay Holmes was at SDCCU Stadium on Sunday morning where a local photographer, Abe Barron, and a group of kind-hearted volunteers, donated food and treats to those in need.Their mission is called "X-Mas on the Street." The group got together to make 800 tamales to hand out, along with some festive Christmas cookies. Barron and the volunteers will be at the stadium today until noon. An orca whale believed to be grieving her dead calf has carried it with her for five days now.The calf died a half-an-hour after its birth, scientists said. They are monitoring the whale as she has carried the calf on her nose and dives to pick it up when it falls off.Officials said it is a rare occurrence for a whale to keep its dead calf with it. This is the first calf in three years born to endangered orcas.On Saturday evening, the whale and her calf were spotted in Canadian waters. 503

American soybean farmers are still waiting to see the benefit of President Donald Trump's trade truce with China.The President said Tuesday that China is "back in the market" to buy American soybeans -- but farmers said that was the first they had heard of any change since July, when China retaliated against new American tariffs by blocking imports of US agricultural products."I've heard rumors that they're going to buy our beans and put them in reserve, but I don't see ships sitting in our ports to haul them to China yet," said John Heisdorffer, an Iowa soybean grower and chairman of the American Soybean Association, on Wednesday."I hate to say it this way, but everything so far has been talk.
