MARATHON, Fla. -- Several dozen endangered sea turtles were flown from New England to Florida and are receiving treatment for something called “cold stunning.”The young sea turtles became stranded on beaches near Cape Cod, Massachusetts after overexposure to cold water. Being exposed to cold water for too long can result in a hypothermic reaction called “cold stunning,” and can cause turtles to stop eating and swimming.They were flown to the warmer climate of Florida over the Thanksgiving weekend and are being treated at various aquariums, turtle hospitals and facilities. Some of them may have to stay at the facilities for up to a year for testing and treatment.About 40 young Kemp Ridley sea turtles were taken to the Turtle Hospital in Marathon, Florida. Another two dozen were taken to other marine centers, including the Florida Aquarium in Tampa.The rescue was made possible by a group of private pilots called “Turtles Fly Too,” who donated their planes, fuel and time to transport the animals. (AP) — Wisconsin has finished its recount of votes cast in this month’s presidential election, with only miniscule changes in the results that saw Democrat Joe Biden defeat Republican Donald Trump in the battleground state.Dane County, which includes the state capital of Madison, reported only small changes in its vote totals on Sunday, mirroring the earlier results of the recount conducted in Milwaukee County.Trump gained 45 votes in Dane County, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.Biden won the state by nearly 20,600 votes and his margin in Milwaukee and Dane counties was about 2-to-1.As a result of the million recount, which was paid for by the Trump campaign, Biden’s lead over Trump in the swing state actually grew by 87 votes, The Washington Post reports.Trump’s next move in Wisconsin will likely be in court. LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Attorney General Daniel Cameron's office has announced that the recording from the grand jury proceedings connected to the Breonna Taylor investigation will be released Wednesday.WAVE 3 News reports this comes after a grand juror filed a motion in the Jefferson Circuit Court to release grand jury transcripts and recordings.The motion called for the court to release any recordings and proceedings in the investigation and to make a declaration that any of the grand jurors have the right to disclose information about the process of grand jury proceedings in Jefferson County for the investigation.Taylor, 26, was shot multiple times by Louisville Metro Police Department narcotics officers serving a warrant just after midnight on March 13.Former LMPD Det. Brett Hankison was charged for shooting 10 rounds from outside Taylor's apartment; some of those shots ended up in adjacent units, which was why he was indicted.
