(KGTV) — Stone Brewery's move on Berlin may have been too much, too soon.The San Diego-based brewery has decided to sell their Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens – Berlin facility to Brewdog, a Scottish craft brewer that owns and operates a series of pubs around the world.The decision was attributed to the cost of maintaining the 1901 gasworks property used as Stone's facility, as well as Germany's construction industry, Stone's co-founder Greg Koch wrote on the company's blog.. He went on to say, "the truth is, the construction industry in Berlin is broken. Yes, there’s a lot of bureaucracy. (WXYZ) — A dramatic deer rescue caught on video shows officers in Michigan save a buck trapped in a net.Officers Thomas Goodrose and Justin Wells came face-to-face with a 10-point buck trapped in the net of a soccer goal at Bingham Farms Elementary on Monday morning.Noticing how panicked the deer was, the quick-thinking officers used a tool from their vehicle to help control the deer's legs while cutting netting that had started to close around the animal's neck. “Once he had it secure, we came up slow. Held the horn and heard it breathe and relax,” said Officer Thomas Goodrose with Franklin police. “It felt really good. You don’t come across this too much but it was really cool.”In the video, you can see the deer realize the netting is no longer attached, and run back into the wilderness. A 62-year-old man is accused of killing two people, after their remains were found in suitcases left on a Seattle area beach.The man was taken into custody this week for the murder of two people, according to Seattle police. Court records show the man knew the victims, and there was a disagreement over rent money.In mid-June, several bags containing human remains were found in the water and on the beach in an area of West Seattle. Police got a call from people who found the bags.The remains were identified a few weeks later as a 27-year-old man and 35-year-old female. KING5 reports the victims are Jessica Lewis, who died from multiple gunshot wounds, and Austin Wenner who died of a gunshot wound to the torso.A judge set bail at million. 757

(KGTV) - The husband of a woman whose body was found in Jamul last year was arrested Tuesday in Maryland, San Diego Sheriff Homicide Lt. Richard Williams said.Winnie Whitby, 49, is being held at Talbot County Jail in Easton, Maryland, pending extradition to San Diego County.Melissa Estrada Whitby was reported missing in December 2016. The victim's co-workers had asked sheriff's deputies to perform a welfare check at her home after she failed to arrive for her job as a nursing supervisor at an El Cajon rehabilitation center.RELATED: Missing Jamul woman believed to be murderedA hiker found her body about one week later on a dirt trail off Skyline Truck Trail in Jamul, about a mile from her home.Detectives spent almost two years investigating the case and gathered enough evidence to link Whitby to the crime, said Williams.10News learned Whitby was also questioned for the double-murder of two brothers in Maryland in 1993.
