BEIJING, Sept. 27 (Xinhua) -- China and India on Tuesday held their first dialogue on counterterrorism and security.
Sergey Zheleznyak, deputy secretary of the United Russia Party, said he welcomed such a practical dialogue and his party had maintained close relations with the CPC.
The proposal included cooperative programs such as building an open world, mapping out a shared development vision, coping with the most pressing global challenges, safeguarding fairness and justice in the international community, and deepening partnerships within the emerging economy bloc.
"This is a historic moment," said Lu Jian, vice president of Guangdong Guangken Rubber Group Co., Ltd.
China is willing to deepen cooperation with other countries and enhance exchanges to improve the international standards system, he noted.
