BEIJING, Nov. 20 (Xinhua) -- China and India should enhance cooperation to combat terrorism and fight transnational crime, said senior Chinese official Meng Jianzhu on Friday.
Vietnam agrees with China on the Belt and Road Initiative and is willing to facilitate investment and operations of Chinese enterprises, he said, urging the two sides to study and implement border pass facilitation measures.
The president called for improved efforts to ensure the safety of Chinese nationals and organizations overseas.
China hopes all involved in Kuala Lumpur will work together to enhance cooperation in the South China Sea instead of sparking quarrels, said the vice minister.
The two countries also need to synergize their development strategies, translate their economic complementarities into more tangible outcomes of cooperation, carry out more exchanges on guidelines of development and take practical cooperation to a new level, according to the president.
