(KGTV) — Even with the opening of "Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge" this summer, Disneyland reported a drop in attendance last quarter.Disney reported the data during an investor's call this week, noting that domestic parks saw a 3% drop in attendance in its third fiscal quarter ending on June 29. However, per-capita guest spending increased 10%, thanks in part to high ticket prices, and spending on food, beverage, and merchandise.Disney added that the lower attendance at Disneyland, specifically, was fueled by fewer annual passholder visits as the park managed the demand for "Galaxy's Edge." (KGTV) – A U.S. Forest Service firefighter was injured while battling a vegetation fire that has burned 10 acres in the Cleveland National Forest near the community of Alpine.The firefighter was taken to an area hospital for treatment according to U.S. Forest Service's Anabele Cornejo. No other details were available.Amid strong Santa Ana winds in the area Friday, a wildfire erupted in the Japatul Valley area of San Diego's East County.The blaze was reported just before 1 p.m. Friday near the 21000 block of Japatul Road, southeast of Alpine, according to the California Highway Patrol.According to the CHP, dark smoke was visible from the agency’s Interstate 8 viewpoint. Robert Flaxman admitted in a Boston courtroom he agreed to pay Rick Singer, the head of a college admissions company, ,000 to partake in the college entrance exam cheating scheme for his daughter. Flaxman’s daughter, who was accepted to USD but did not attend, had a proctor to boost her ACT scores, prosecutors said. (KGTV) -- DoorDash announced Thursday that the information of 4.9 million users was affected by a data breach. The company said in a blog post that 4.9 million consumers, Dashers and merchants who joined before April 5, 2018 were affected. According to DoorDash, profile information including names, email addresses, delivery addresses, order history, phone numbers and hashed, salted passwords were accessed during the breach. The company says the last four digits of payment cards and bank accounts were also compromised for some consumers, delivery workers and merchants, but full credit card and banking information was not accessed. For 100,000 Dashers, driver’s license numbers were also accessed, the company said. DoorDash says it’s in the process of notifying those affected.
