(AP) — Authorities say two murder suspects have escaped from central California's Monterey County Jail.The county sheriff's office says in a tweet that the inmates escaped Sunday morning.The tweet says Santos Fonseca and Jonathan Salazar were in custody on suspicion of murder and other violent charges.A call seeking additional details from sheriff's officials wasn't immediately returned.Monterey is a city of about 28,000 people on California's central coast, 100 miles (160 kilometers) south of San Francisco. 538

More than 10,000 pounds of chicken is being recalled due to possible contamination by "foreign materials," specifically metal.  Empire Kosher Poultry Inc. says the raw chicken breasts were packaged on November 2 and have the number "P-1015" in the USDA inspection mark. The video, captured by a Ring security camera, shows the bear sneaking up to the home in Naples Florida. The bear knocks over some Christmas decorations before walking up to the door and ringing the doorbell. The bear finally walks off after being yelled at by the family. The homeowner says nothing was damaged, but a snowman decoration did lose its head. 498

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — A woman's body was found last week in her apartment, where she lived with her four adult children. One of her children told police she may have died two years ago.Metro Nashville Police officials found Laronda Jolly's body in her bed with clothes piled on top of her, and officials say the body was in a significant state of decomposition.The body was discovered by the Davidson County Sheriff's Office when deputies were serving an eviction notice.Jolly lived in the apartment with her four children, all of whom are reportedly intellectually disabled. One of them said Jolly may have been in that position since 2018, according to police officials. The four of them have reportedly been living there since she died.A cause of death has not been determined. Her remains were sent to the medical examiner's office for an autopsy.
