SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- The San Diego City Council has voted to tentatively approve a prohibition of electric scooters on the city’s boardwalks. The Council voted 5-4 Monday afternoon to approve the ban. The prohibition will include Mission Beach, Pacific Beach, Mission Bay Park Bayside Walk and the La Jolla Shores Boardwalk. Earlier this year, councilmembers voted for regulations on the dockless scooters. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — The wife of ex-NFL tight end Kellen Winslow II has filed for divorce, months after the former footballer was convicted of rape.Janelle Winslow filed documents for divorce on Aug. 30 in San Diego, according to records. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- The San Diego Unified School District is suing e-cigarette company JUUL, claiming its product “disrupts the education and learning environment across the district.”The lawsuit follows similar suits filed by school districts in Los Angeles, Glendale, Compton and Anaheim. The district is seeking an injunction and abatement to “stop the e-cigarette epidemic” which the district claims severely impacted normal school operations.
