SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - While bars are set to open Friday, it's not going to look much different from restaurants right now, according to those in the industry.10News spoke with Nathan Colonero, the Director of Operations at Sandbox Pizza and The Tipsy Crow, and he said the only change will be businesses without a food license will be able to reopen and bars that serve food don't have to enforce a food order on each tab.Customers will be required to wear masks when they walk in and may only remove their mask once seated.Tables must be spaced at least six feet apart or partitioned.Colonero is hopeful the easing restrictions will continue, "who knows? Maybe three more weeks and no spike and we get a little more back to, the biggest thing for us is to get back to, if people are allowed to be in the venue, maybe at a lower capacity, just not seated."Many San Diego bars with food licenses have been open for the past three weeks and some are feeling the squeeze of the new restrictions."The 0 unemployment is killing businesses right now to get staff back," Colonero said. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — Two Senate runoff elections in Georgia will determine if President-elect Joe Biden and the Democrats have full control of Congress or a divided government.Although there has been notable legislation passed in periods of divided government, two political science experts say they expect consensus on only “incremental” legislation in our hyper-partisan era.Each of the last six commanders-in-chief presided over a period of divided government, where the opposing party controlled one or both chambers in Congress.“We've seen less productivity come out of those sessions,” said Dr. Stephen Goggin, a political scientist at San Diego State University. “You have to do more of the bargaining type politics that we haven't necessarily seen in recent history.”Compromise used to be more common. In the early 1980s, the Reagan Administration worked with Democrats in the House to pass tax cuts and banking deregulation along with funding for job training and highway infrastructure.President George W. He says their goal is to make the program accessible to those who need it, even those thousands of miles away. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Two people were arrested on suspicion of vandalizing a school in the College East area late Thursday night.At around 11 p.m., San Diego police were called to Harriet Tubman School on 6880 Mohawk St. in response to two people seen on the campus.When officers arrived, the two people ran away. Following a brief foot chase, police caught the pair and took them into custody.Police said officers discovered a classroom with a window that was smashed, a vandalized TV screen inside a room and graffiti.Officers also found fireworks they believe the two people planned to set off. 603
