(KGTV) - A plane made an emergency landing Friday on westbound Interstate 8, according to the California Highway Patrol.A 36-year-old student pilot and 25-year-old instructor from California Flight Academy were above El Cajon and had engine trouble about 11:15 a.m., the CHP reported.According to SDSUBaseball's twitter page, the instructor is Ryan Muno, a former Aztec baseball star.Both men were trying to land at Gillespie Field but were forced to touch down on the freeway. The instructor took over the controls and landed safely in lanes near Second Ave."The instructor took over the controls of the plane. On Christmas eve, two El Cajon police officers didn’t hesitate to buy dinner for a family living in their car. While always ready to respond to calls, officers never know exactly what they'll find. On this Christmas Eve call, they found a woman named Juanita and her two children, living in their car. Detective Travis Howard is President of the El Cajon Police Officers Association. He says the officers bought the family dinner at Jack in the Box and then closed the call. But after their shift, they wanted to do more, dipping in their own pockets to get the family a hotel room for two nights so they wouldn't be homeless on Christmas. The two police officers who first helped the family didn’t do it for the praise and asked to remain anonymous. 859

Or perhaps they’re donating something on behalf of a family member who passed away. We see that a lot, unfortunately.”Different Goodwill stores have different policies, but the Goodwill of Denver in Colorado has a loss prevention box at their locations.“We have all kinds of credit cards, driver’s licenses, certificates, checks, things like that,” says Carlson.But experts say you shouldn't rely on the donation site to safely dispose of personal information. In fact, you could be putting yourself at serious risk.Colorado's Attorney General Cynthia Coffman runs a consumer fraud unit. She says all someone needs, is a small piece of information. Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, reassured children over the weekend that he personally visited Santa Claus at the North Pole, and vaccinated him.Appearing on a CNN Town Hall that educated children on the coronavirus, several children submitted questions on whether Santa would be able to visit them amid the pandemic.“I have to say I took care of that for you because I was worried you all would be upset,” Fauci told the children. “I took a trip up there to the North Pole. I went there and I vaccinated Santa Claus myself. I measured his level of immunity. He is good to go. He can come down the chimney.”Fauci added, “You have nothing to worry about.”Fauci did not indicate which vaccine he injected Santa with.
