(AP) — California wildlife officials say residents cannot keep an invasive beagle-sized rodent as a pet.The Sacramento Bee reports that the California Fish and Game Commission are taking preventive action to avoid the South American nutria from spreading.The commission says they will discuss adding nutria to a legal list of prohibited pets in December.Officials say California could see about 250,000 rodents in five years.Scientists say they captured hundreds in multiple counties already as part of a million plan to eradicate the rodent.Experts say their burrowing is damaging to waterways and flood protection infrastructure.Nutrias have also been reported in Oregon, Louisiana and Maryland. 727

Ron Jeremy, an adult film star, is charged with forcibly raping three women and sexually assaulting a fourth in separate incidents between 2014 and 2019.The Los Angeles County District Attorney announced the charges against 67-year-old Ronald Jeremy Hyatt Tuesday, and said three of the incidents happened at the same bar in West Hollywood.The District Attorney accuses Hyatt of sexually assaulting two women, ages 33 and 46, on separate occasions in 2017 at the bar. Then in 2019, the DA states Hyatt raped a 30-year-old woman at the same, unnamed bar.Hyatt is also accused of forcibly raping a 25-year-old woman in May 2014 at a home in West Hollywood.If Hyatt is convicted of these charges, he could face a maximum of 90 years to life in prison.In 2001, a documentary about his career and featuring Hyatt was released, “Porn Star: The Legend of Ron Jeremy.” He reportedly has more than 2,000 film credits as an adult film actor. 940

Robert Trump, President Donald Trump’s younger brother, has died, the White House confirmed late Saturday. The cause of his death was not immediately known.President Trump visited his brother at a New York City hospital on Friday, one day before his brother’s passing.President Trump issued a brief statement following his brother’s passing:“It is with heavy heart I share that my wonderful brother, Robert, peacefully passed away tonight. Rudy Giuliani said Sunday that special counsel Robert Mueller is aiming to finish the probe into potential wrongdoing by President Donald Trump by Sept. 1.Giuliani, Trump's attorney, confirmed to CNN that Mueller's office shared its timeline with him about a month ago.The former New York mayor said, however, that Mueller gave him the information within the context of a discussion about whether Trump would do an interview with the special counsel.
