SHENZHEN, Sept. 9 (Xinhua) -- A senior Chinese publicity official has urged to use the country's burgeoning social media as a means to amplify "positive voices" and address social concerns.
A report on the official website of the Transport Ministry on Friday said that the reform will be implemented in two steps.
"We are here to be a good partner with the island countries; we are not here to compete with anybody," he said.
"Without aggressive strategies to combat pollution, China's environmental problems will likely only worsen as its urban areas continue to expand. Comprehensive urbanization policies that focus on conservation and the efficient use of natural resources such as energy, air, water, and land will be necessary to ensure the sustainability and quality of these resources in the future," the report said.
According to regulations on educational inspection, Governments will appoint inspectors to supervise and assess the practices of schools and educational institutions. Governments above county level shall bear responsibilities to supervise the implementation of law and regulations concerning education of their lower governments.
