(KGTV) - The search for a young East San Diego County man will be profiled this month by missing persons investigator John Walsh. Twenty-year-old Elijah Runningbear Diaz, a member of the Barona Tribe, was last seen Aug. 29, 2015 in El Cajon. His mother dropped him off at his home on Joey Lane about 10 p.m. Diaz’ mother reported him missing the next day - the day his cell phone was turned off. There was no further activity on his bank account or social media. RELATED: Family still searching for missing El Cajon man Officers found a 50-inch television had been removed from his bedroom along with his sheets and the contents of a safe. Diaz has type one diabetes and, at the time of his disappearance, had a serious foot injury that required him to use crutches. He also has a bear claw tattoo on his inner left forearm. El Cajon Police joined Diaz’ friends and relatives for a door-to-door search near his home in 2015. (KGTV) — Thousands of acres have burned and evacuations have been ordered for surrounding cabins as the Holy Fire rages in Orange County.The fire broke out near Holy Jim Canyon and Trabuco Creek roads Monday at about 1:30 p.m. Since then, it has exploded in size, reach thousands of acres by the next day.Multiple fire agencies responded to battle the fire and contain it to the forest land, away from communities around Cleveland National Forest.RELATED:  479

A 41-year-old Sheboygan, Wisconsin mom faces multiple charges after she had her 12-year-old daughter driver her car after she was drinking.According to the criminal complaint, the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office was called to I-43 at County Road V on Sunday, March 18 around 5:30 p.m. local time — after a 911 caller reported a child driving a Chevy Equinox SUV on the freeway while sitting on her mother’s lap.The deputy caught up to the vehicle and performed a traffic stop. When the deputy approached the vehicle, he noted a strong smell of intoxicants coming from inside. He also saw the 12-year-old girl was in the back seat and the mother, Amanda Hauke, was behind the wheel.The mother initially denied that the girl was driving the car in her lap – but later admitted that it was true. The 12-year-old girl also told the deputy that she did this.During a field sobriety test, the mother admitted to drinking roughly four hours before she was pulled over. A preliminary breath test was performed and showed Hauke’s blood alcohol level was .126. She was then arrested. After she was arrested, Hauke then admitted to authorities she had consumed “a couple glasses of wine with a co-worker at a bar between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. that afternoon.”Hauke is charged with: 1306

A 2-month-old baby who died of a birth defect had also contracted COVID-19.According to a report from the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner, the baby was born with gastroschisis — a birth defect where a baby is born with intestines located outside the body.The medical examiner's report notes that the baby was born at 37 weeks with the defect. On Sept. 8, after going home from a surgery, the child developed vomiting and diarrhea and was diagnosed with COVID-19.He was pronounced deceased at a hospital after developing acute respiratory symptoms. According to the report, COVID-19 caused the baby's recent issues.News of the child's death broke last Wednesday in an interview with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) Chief Medical Executive Dr. Joneigh Khaldun. Khaldun warned that children are not immune to the virus. They still can — and are likely to — pass it on to others.Across the U.S., about 800 children have been diagnosed with Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome in Children (MIS-C), a disease associated with COVID-19. According to AAA, most travelers book flights for Thanksgiving between September 25 and October 27 and between October 26 and November 27 for Christmas “Holiday travelers should make their plans now and begin booking their flights for Thanksgiving and Christmas as early as Wednesday, Sept. 25 for the best deals and availability,” said Paula Twidale, vice president, AAA Travel. Thanksgiving TravelAAA says this year, travelers can find some of the best pricing sever to 13 days before Thanksgiving, between November 11 and 17. The site says, however, that limited availability makes seats hard to come by at the discounted rates. Flying Monday of Thanksgiving week is the best option with the lowest average ticket price, according to AAA. Christmas TravelFor Christmas, AAA found that booking flights between 61 to 90 days before the holiday, or between September 26 and October 27, is best. Last-minute Christmas travelers can find the best pricing between seven to 13 days before the holiday, according to AAA. However, much like Thanksgiving, availability is likely to be limited. “Procrastinating travelers may be able to find last-minute deals on flights close to the holidays, as airlines look to fill their last few remaining seats, but flight availability for these peak travel weeks will be very limited by that time," Twidale continued. 1492
