SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — One person is dead and police are searching for a suspect Saturday after a shooting in the Chollas Creek neighborhood.San Diego Police said the shooting occurred at about 2:30 p.m. in the 5200 block of University Ave. A 26-year-old Hispanic man was in an argument with a suspect at the interaction of 52nd St. and University Ave., according to witnesses, where the altercation continued toward the 4000 block of 52nd St.At that point, the suspect pulled out a gun and shot the victim, police said.The man was taken to a nearby hospital where he died of his injuries.The suspect fled, heading west on University Ave.No suspect description was available.Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call SDPD 619-531-2293 or Crime Stoppers at 88-580-8477. 787

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Police are investigating the death of a man who was found with stab wounds in a gas station parking lot in Webster.San Diego police said they received a 911 call just before 10:30 p.m. Thursday regarding a possible stabbing victim in the 4300 block of Home Avenue.Officers arrived to find a 31-year-old Black man with “apparent trauma to his upper torso,” according to SDPD officials.The victim was eventually taken to the hospital for emergency surgery, but he later died from his injuries. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Police identified the man suspected of a sexual assault in a Mission Beach alley as 40-year old Philemon Shark from Seattle. According to San Diego police, a 24-year old woman was walking by herself on Bayside Lane around 8:45 a.m. on Sunday when Shark attacked her. The woman screamed for help, and several residents ran out and stopped Shark before he ran away.Officers caught up to him in a breezeway and took him into custody. Shark was booked on felony sexual assault charges and outstanding warrants from Washington state, according to police.Police said Shark had been in San Diego for a few months before the assault. 653
