Gavin Newsom said Tuesday he's worried about family gatherings around California ahead of the Fourth of July weekend and will announce new measures to dial back reopenings on Wednesday.Newsom said the prospect of family gatherings, not just bars or demonstrations, this weekend has health officers worried about the continued spread of the coronavirus. He added that new measures related to enforcement will also be announced on Wednesday."Tomorrow we will be making some additional announcements on efforts to use that dimmer switch we've referred to and begin to toggle back on our stay-at-home order and tighten things up," Newsom said. I was catching my breath." She told 10News her name is Cynthia Ann Doe, keeping her last name private, wearing a scarf over her head and dark sunglasses, concealing part of her identity for fear of retaliation. She said she could still see the rectory, where Monsignor Gregory Sheridan lived, next to the church. In it's place is a parking lot.She depicted what her life was like when she was just five-years-old, "I had no one to protect me, my mother and my father divorced when I was four, my brother died months before that." She said they lived inside a brightly painted yellow apartment building, sitting just across the street. Ann Doe said she clung to her faith and her family was honored when Monsignor Sheridan took favor in their company. Alone in his bedroom, her lawyer said he violated her with his fingers.She said at that age she couldn't process what happened, "that you are worthless dirty, a bad person, so bad that even God must not love you, because your priest hurt you and made you feel nasty.""I'm asking anyone male or female who may be struggling with what happened to them by Father Sheridan to come forward and be heard," she said.That call growing louder as more cases arise across the country. Gavin Newsom announced that counties can reopen schools for in-person education when the county has been off the state's watch list for 14 consecutive days.Newsom said schools that don't meet that requirement would have to start the fall school year with distance learning.Though some of California's schools will make that grade for in-person classes this fall, Newsom outlined when schools may be required to go back to distance learning:Schools should consult public health officer first if a classroom needs to go home because of a positive caseA classroom goes to distance learning if there is a confirmed caseA school goes to distance learning if multiple classrooms have cases or more than 5% of a school is positiveA district goes to distance learning if 25% of a district's schools are closed within two weeks"Our students, teachers, staff, and certainly parents, we all prefer in-classroom instruction for all the obvious reasons, social and emotional foundationally. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — FBI investigators are searching for a yellow Chevrolet Camaro in connection with an incident at a local park in May.Investigators say the individuals associated with the vehicle may have been a witness to the incident on May 31, 2020, at Kenmore Terrace Mini Park. The FBI did not elaborate on the incident.The Camaro is described as a two-door coupe with bright yellow paint and is believed to be a fifth-generation model year (2010-2015). In contrast to the yellow paint on the body of the Camaro, the hood, trunk, and spoiler are black. The vehicle also has a sunroof.
