Tim Hortons is offering up a safe alternative to trick-or-treat this year amid the coronavirus pandemic.The fast-food chain said in a press release that customers can trick-or-treat in the drive-thru this Halloween.If you wear a costume, you'll receive a free Halloween donut, the company said.The Canadian doughnut chain says the donut is covered with chocolate fondant and topped with orange sprinkles.If you don't feel like wearing a costume, you can purchase the specialty treat for 99 cents.Tim Hortons says the limited-time offer is only available at its U.S. locations. 584

Times Square was a hive of activity Tuesday afternoon, as more than 40,000 bees swarmed a hot dog stand at the corner of Broadway and West 43rd Street.Known as an absconded hive, the bees were looking for a new home to escape the sweltering heat, said Officer Darren Mays, one of the New York Police Department's two official beekeepers."The hive got overcrowded because it was hot and humid and they just needed a new place to go so they can keep cool," Mays said. He also runs the official NYPD Bees Twitter account, which was buzzing with likes and retweets as many New Yorkers learned that their police force had beekeepers on staff.Mays said the bees likely went looking for a new home after leaving one of the rooftop hives of a nearby building.Second-beekeeper-in-command, Officer Michael Lauriano, responded to the scene in full protective gear, including a netted bee helmet. It took Lauriano 45 minutes to carefully vacuum the bees. TRABUCO CANYON, Calif. – A large brush fire burning in the Cleveland National Forest’s Trabuco Canyon is spreading quickly Monday afternoon. The fire, dubbed the Holy Fire, was reported around 1:30 p.m. near Holy Jim Canyon and Trabuco Creek roads, according to KABC.The Orange County Fire Authority said the blaze grew quickly from between seven and 10 acres to at least 700.The fire also destroyed at least one structure and is threatening several communication towers at the top of a nearby hill.The fire is currently burning away from Orange County and those living in the community of Holy Jim were asked to evacuate out of precaution. Cal Fire is assisting in fighting the blaze. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time. 765
