BEIJING, Nov. 23 (Xinhua) -- President Xi Jinping has offered China's wisdom and solutions to address global challenges ranging from fighting COVID-19 to reviving the world economy, as he attended a series of multilateral conferences held in November.

The two sides should strengthen communication and coordination, and jointly safeguard the international system with the United Nations as the core, the international order based on international law, and the multilateral trading system with the rules of the World Trade Organization as the cornerstone, said Li.

The pilot, which has been launched in the cities of Shenzhen, Chengdu and Suzhou and the Xiongan New Area, is expected to expand to more areas including the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, the Yangtze River Delta and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Despite the damage inflicted by COVID-19, China's import of goods has basically recovered to the level of last year.

Xi attended via video link leaders' meetings of BRICS, the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) and the Group of 20 (G20) from Nov. 17 to 22. The events were held as the world is coping with a pandemic of a century, a serious global economic recession and a series of turbulences and changes.
