The FBI and Toledo, Ohio police are searching for a suspect in an armed bank robbery who was mistakenly released from jail earlier this week.According to the FBI, Don Woodson Ellis Jr. allegedly robbed a bank in Toledo on Monday and was arrested and held at the Lucas County Corrections Center. He was mistakenly released on Wednesday night around 10:30 p.m.At the time, he was wearing a black t-shirt, light blue shorts/jeans to the knee and white tennis shoes with dark laces.He was using the name Antwon Moore at the time of the departure from the jail. He is also considered armed and dangerous.The Lucas County Sheriff's Office said Ellis "used deception" to be released back into the community.According to the FBI, he could be in Michigan given his previous criminal record which includes pleading guilty to bank robbery and fleeing/eluding police in Monroe County.Ellis is described as a black male, 28 years old, 6-feet tall weighing 150 pounds.  983

The five suspects accused of abusing 11 children at a New Mexico compound were training them to commit school shootings, prosecutors said Wednesday.If the defendants were to "be released from custody, there is a substantial likelihood defendants may commit new crimes due to their planning and preparation for future school shootings," according to the court filings.The complaints did not provide further details about the alleged training.Allegations against the suspects come in the wake of the discovery that 11 starving children had been living in a filthy compound in Amalia, New Mexico, that lacked electricity or plumbing.Authorities raided the compound on Friday as part of their search for Abdul-Ghani Wahhaj, a child with severe medical problems who was allegedly abducted from Georgia by his father, Siraj Wahhaj, about nine months ago.A boy's remains were found at the compound on Monday, police said, although it is not yet clear whether the remains are those of 4-year-old Abdul-Ghani.Five adults -- including Siraj Wahhaj, another man and three women who are thought to be the children's mothers -- each face 11 charges of child abuse related to the neglect and abuse of the children.None of the defendants has been formally charged. The Georgia Democratic Party and gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams' campaign filed a lawsuit in federal court Sunday asking for rejected absentee ballots and provisional ballots to be counted in the Georgia governor's race.The lawsuit challenges the rejection of more than 1,000 absentee ballots for missing information or mismatching information, like birth dates or addresses.The lawsuit also seeks relief for voters whose provisional ballots were rejected in Gwinnett and Dekalb counties, which are in the Atlanta metro area, because they are registered in a different county.CNN has not projected a winner in the race.Republican candidate Brian Kemp currently leads Abrams with 50.3% of the vote. The community in Mayfield Heights, Ohio is mourning the loss of a 17-year-old student who died on Wednesday night. Steven "Stevie" Grieshammer was a junior on the swim team at Mayfield High School. On February 25 during swimming exercises he did not come up from the water, according to a Facebook post by his aunt Missy Bifro Grieshammer. "He was a wonderful boy, a loving son, a fantastic swimmer, and just the sweetest nephew we could have. We will miss him every day," his uncle wrote in remembrance.According to his family, he spent days in a coma.Mayfield City Schools superintendent Dr. Keith Kelly released the following statement to parents and students.Our deepest condolences and most heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to the Grieshammer family.
