BEIJING, Oct. 9 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Premier Li Keqiang will attend the 17th meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in the Tajikistan city of Dushanbe, pay official visits to Tajikistan and the Netherlands, attend the 12th Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) summit in Brussels and pay a working visit to Belgium, from Oct. 11 to 19.
The Chinese minister said that under the guidance of the important consensus reached between the leaders of the two countries, China and India should enhance strategic mutual trust, promote all-round cooperation, deepen pragmatic cooperation on law enforcement and security particularly on counter-terrorism and combating separatist forces and transnational crimes so as to further closer the development partnership between the two countries.
"But if somebody started a trade war against us, we have to respond and defend our own interests," the Chinese envoy said. "So this is tariffs for tariffs. It's for nothing else," he said.
"I am very happy to visit China for the first time as the president of South Africa and continue our strategic communication," said Ramaphosa, noting that keeping high-level exchanges between the two sides is very important to deepen mutual trust.
China demands the U.S. side to immediately correct its wrongdoing and withdraw the so-called sanctions. "The Chinese military reserves the right to take further countermeasures," Huang said.
