BEIJING, March 26 (Xinhua) -- Chinese President Xi Jinping Thursday called for a resolute all-out global war against the COVID-19 outbreak as leaders of the Group of 20 (G20) convened an extraordinary summit to coordinate multilateral response to the pandemic.

The eight-member Chinese expert team was organized by China's National Health Commission and selected by the health commission of Guangdong province. They have visited hospitals, labs, health institutions since they arrived last Saturday.

"At present, Russia is in a critical stage of epidemic prevention and control," Zhao said, adding that while continuing its efforts in epidemic prevention and control at home, China offered support and aid to Russia to the best of its ability.

"China's export depends mainly on the European Union (EU) and the United States. The full-blown upturn of China's economy can be seen when the economies of the EU and the United States recover," Han Jae-jin, a manager of the global emerging markets team at Hyundai Research Institute in Seoul, told Xinhua.

Faced with the uNPRecedented challenge of the COVID-19 pandemic, G20 members should join hands to send out a unanimous and positive message, and provide support for other countries, so as to jointly contribute to global public health security.
